Sara was really professional and sweet. I had an early morning appointment for hair and makeup at 5:30 am, and she was right on time, which was great! I really loved the makeup and hair, she made me feel really comfortable. Highly recommend Sara :)

I took an Advanced Makeup Artistry course with Sara and I learned so much! She's a patient and knowledgeable teacher, with an understanding of both the classic looks and the trendier, modern looks. She's honest and kind with her feedback, and her expertise has really helped take my makeup skills and confidence to the next level!

I used Sara to complete my mother’s hair and makeup for my wedding. My mom is quite sick with cancer and as such we accelerated our timeline. Because of this, I had very limited time to find a makeup artist. Sara was quick to come to the rescue. She answered every email quickly and professionally and asked relevant questions. She gave me confidence knowing that although I could not be present, she would take care of everything. The morning of the wedding, she arrived at my moms hotel room exactly on time. She was pleasant and personable. She made my mom feel comfortable despite struggling with hair loss and a significant loss of confidence. My mom said she felt Sara was attentive and flexible and knew what would look good on her based on skin tone and face shape. My mom is a typical parent that is difficult to please. She also has only ever had her makeup done once before Sara and was not happy nor does she wear makeup regularly. I was very nervous since there was no time for a trial. When my mom arrived at my venue, we had a reveal moment. She was absolutely glowing and grinning ear to ear. She said she felt confident and was thrilled with the results. She mentioned that the last time she had her makeup done she did not feel like herself, but this time she felt like a better, healthy version of herself. I will treasure those photos for the rest of my life. I can’t thank Sara enough for everything she did. Simply being a nice human was amazing, but obviously she was fantastic at her job. Having my mother at my wedding was a big deal. Having her happy and confident because of Saras hard work was worth every penny and more. I highly recommend Sara!

I actually messaged Sara very last minute like a week before my wedding thinking she probably wouldn't be able to help me out but she got back to me the same day and helped me book an appointment with a makeup artist asap. Juliana was my makeup artist and she did such an amazing job! It was my first makeup application and she made me feel so comfortable and not judged at all. She answered my questions and she stuck to my comfort zone. She made me look amazing for my day!! I really appreciate what they did for me :)

Had an amazing experience with Sara! Starting with being super super responsive and helping me get a last minute mobile make-up service coordinated, (saved the day), to sending me all the instructions quickly, to providing the receipt quickly, and offering very fair price points. She arrived early, was so considerate of my very tight timeline, had a ton of great make up options to ensure the kind of look I wanted, made sure the light was right, and got me done on time - and with a cute little ‘touch up’ kit to boot! Sara did make up and hairstyle for my daughter prom. We were very happy with the results. She arrived on time, was attentive to all our requests, and gave us advice as well. My daughter recieved many compliments on her prom! Sara is very friendly, and organized. And the most important, my daughter loved her prom look. My daughter also took private make up classes from Sara and found it very useful. I recommend Sara for both event make up and make up classes. We are definitely going to use Sara services in future.

I booked Makeup by Design to do my makeup for my stepson’s wedding. Wow - what an excellent choice! Sara was very patient, and listened to me try to explain what I wanted, even though I’m not one to wear much makeup. In the end, Sara found that perfect balance of making me look so great without making me look made up! The little touch-up bag was such a great touch. Thank you Sara!
