I definitely recommend this company for removal of animals from your home! I could hear noises in the vent above my microwave/ stove. After calling their dispatch, it didn't take long at all for Eric to arrive. He inspected the situation, and then even brought his ladder out and checked out the opening on the roof, though it was raining. After coming to the conclusion that the mounted microwave would need to be taken down off the wall, he called his supervisor Randy and waited patiently so they could tackle this together. The squirrel ended up running up the vent as they took the heavy microwave down. Randy and Eric once again went out in the rain and onto the roof to double check it was gone. They then installed a secure mesh with reinforcement onto the opening of the vent. In the end, though this took longer than expected, involved heavy lifting, and work on a rooftop in the rain, they charged me the originally quoted price from the phone. They were professional, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable throughout. Thank you so much Eric and Randy!

Called on Sunday as I needed to get rid of a bunch of ants and was booked the next day! Joel showed up when he said he would! He was very personable and explained everything that he was going to do. Very happy with Joel and this company

I contacted major pest control within 12 hours of discovering voles had made a home beneath some fixtures in my back yard. I had pictures and the person on the phone texted me and asked me to text them and he was immediately able to not only know what the problem was but quote me what I felt was a more than fair price. Within hours Cody was in my backyard. He was professional, knowledgeable and above all else the customer service was top notch. He gave me his number in case I ran into any issues, but I have a feeling the unwanted squatters will no longer be a problem. Very satisfied with the service I received and will use them again.

EDIT: DAY-AFTER-SERVICE REVIEW: Birds are still coming into my dryer vent the very next day after Major Pest initially responded! I called another company this morning and found out the vent should have been thoroughly cleaned out, sprayed with a disinfectant, temporarily sealed with duct tape on the exterior vent so the birds can't come in, and then have a proper exterior vent installed that will block the birds. I also was informed by the other company not to use my dryer until all the work is done as it's a serious fire hazard. Not only did Major Pest fail to warn me of the fire hazard and to not use my dryer, but they ran the dryer right after they removed the bird from the vent. Major Pest charged me $250 fee to remove the bird. They offered to do follow-up for no extra fee and I was going to take them up on the offer as I don't have $250 + GST to throw away. But the follow-up they offered was below standard--clean out the remainder of the nest, spray with mite spray (the wrong spray and it's also a fire hazard), insert a screen in the inside, etc. I'm not taking the risk. The other company quoted $95 for the full service that included the bird/nest removal, checking the full vent and dryer for debris, appropriate cleaning/disinfecting, and temporarily sealing the vent. The installation of a new external vent that will permanently prevent the birds from entering again will cost $165. So for a bit more than the cost that Major Pest charged, I'm getting another company to do the work properly and they're clearly much more experienced and informed about this particular process. It's a $$ loss for me, but I'd rather pay a duct company who knows what they're doing than risk a fire in my home. Major Pest team responded quickly and safely removed the bird that was trapped. I appreciate that they offered to complete the job for no extra cost. But I'm disappointed in the quality of knowledge and service, as well as safety practices, for this particular situation. DAY-OF-SERVICE REVIEW: Emmanuel, Randy, and Joel did a great job removing a bird that was trapped in my dryer vent! Bizarre situation that I swear could only happen in Canada. I called Major Pest Control in the late morning and Emmanuel arrived within a few hours to assess the situation--I heard scratching coming from behind my dryer and couldn't see anything from outside the house. He checked my roof/attic and verified the animal was in fact trapped in the dryer vent. He couldn't move the stacked washer/dryer, so we had to call in a second team to do the heavy lifting. The second team, Randy and Joel arrived a few hours after to haul my stacked washer and dryer out of the closet and removed the bird. There was no mess to clean up or damage to repair! All team members I communicated with were super friendly, professional, and did an excellent job! And the bird is free with no harm done.

They helped remove a sparrow nest in my kitchen hood vent. Everything about them have been great, from the i initial phone call with Jonathan (if I recall his name correctly) in setting up the appointment to Cody coming out within 3 hours of the call. They explained what they were going to do in detail, did exactly that, being courteous and professional. I hope not to have any pest/wildlife issues but I know who to call if I do in the future!

Still working on the house renovations and started doing some gardening and noticed several ant hills. Turns out the whole yard was covered in them. After a quick google search, gave Major Pest Control a call. They were super polite, were able to accommodate my schedule and showed up the following morning. They were courteous, called before they arrived, prompt, explained everything they were going to do, and then proceeded to spray the perimeter of my property and all the obvious ant areas. Once he was done, Eric explained everything he had done, provided me with their guarantee and made sure that I was pleased with their services. Their fees are reasonable and even though I hope that I won’t need their services in the future, I will call on them again if I have to. Thanks!

Cody is knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. He was easy to communicate with and quick to respond when we discovered mice in our home. Cody quickly identified the issue and knew the best solution of how to get rid of them, while being respectful & mindful around our two young kids and our cat. Cody was very detailed in how the billing process would work and how we could maximize the effectiveness of their rechecks. We are almost 6 months now with no evidence of mice. Great job, Cody! I would not hesitate to recommend Cody and would absolutely work with him again if any pest control issues arise in the future.
