Maharaja Restaurant has been serving and delivering the best East Indian, Kashmiri & Mughlai cuisine since 2002. Prepared by master chefs from India, enjoy specialities like the naan breads, tandoori meats, Maharajah’s leg of lamb, and a variety of curries that are mild, medium or spicy. We opened our first restaurant in downtown Calgary in 2007. Thanks to many repeat and new visitors, our humble restaurant was a great success.Our priority is using fresh ingredients and working with new recipes to prepare delicious East Indian dishes.

O	Orange bean Bad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly really solid, the food is good(im eating some chicken tikka masala right now) and the people are friendly, great place to get a decently fast meal, and a wide menu offers some delicious sounding foods The portions are enough for two people/meals, so really dont plan to eat it all by yourself all at once, but to say i got two meals out of a 20$ curry and rice is really good

Paneer makhani was nothing but paneer dipped in tomato puree ( couldn't taste any spices at all ). Roti was soft and good. Would not visit again. The food was not even near to the Indian taste.

Still great tasting food but timing and temperature really has become an issue unfortunately” “We have never been disappointed with our food from Maharajah and the staff are very accommodating which makes ordering from them a pleasure. But today they excelled themselves with some spring rolls like never before - best ever! The rest of our order was equally fantastic. Keep up the good work!”

The food is delicious, great portions and I would argue the best in the city. Our favourite dishes are saag, butter chicken, chili fish and of course the garlic nana. The raita is also fabulous. While they are behind sometimes because they are so popular, they are still always very friendly. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

I had tried vegetarian food and really love the mix of the same. The food is very nice. You will enjoy Dal Makni and butter naan. So if you are in Calgary do visit this place.

The food at Maharajah restaurant is exceptional!!The menu is extensive, you get to chose from number of different food items. We ordered paneer tikka, fish, kabobs, and malai kofta with garlic naan. All the items we ordered were very tasty and well prepared especially Malai kofta. The quality and quantity, both were great. Staff was very polite and friendly while talking to the customers. We highly recommend this place.
