Welcome to Green Chili Restaurant. We have 5 locations in Calgary. We offer a fusion of the best of Indian, Nepalese,Chinese and Tibetan flavours. A cuisine are full of fresh wonderful flavours, which allows you to indulge in a feast of aromatic dishes.

The GreenChili was founded long back in Canada. With innovative thoughts, dream of serving Indian food to Canadians and Indians residing there saw light of the day.
The name GreenChili translates quite literally as sophisticated flavours and this is the ethos behind the innovative menu. With an emphasis on refined yet creative Indian cuisine, the menu incorporates both traditional classic favourites and original new dishes that apply eastern flavours with a western twist.
Coming to our introduction the food we serve speaks for ourselves. The variety of food is so vast that if you come everyday and order a different cuisine you can have 365 days occupied. Speaking of food We offer creative dishes from various regions of India Every item on our menu is prepared with authentic Indian herbs and spice and prepared in our kitchen with extreme care to ensure that you are served consistently good meals.

Starters were excellent!
The Dal was lovely too that went well with the rice.
Staff were friendly and honest with recommending food so we didn’t end up over ordering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simply incredible chicken vindaloo. One of the best I have ever had. Great keema naan too. The chef (Jokal? you know who you are!) came out to meet us and he explained that he makes all the dishes himself. I have lived near here for years and hadn't tried this place until tonight, but I can't wait to go back. A hot and spicy vindaloo is rare in Calgary, and this one was superb with such a big portion size too (see pic)..

Sim was very accommodating and took detailed notes of our order. One of the best indian restaurants we have ever been to. Great job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best Indian food I've eaten in Calgary. I have been here thrice already in my 3 week visit and keep going there for more. Their speciality - Momo's are absolutely delicious! Also, I haven't eaten such soft Naan's in any restaurant back in India. Their menu is quite good with veg options also available. John has been a very kind and knowledgeable host and always suggested the best and yummiest dishes. I totally recommend this restaurant for a dine-in or a take-away and you wouldn't be disappointed! A 10/10 rating from me! ? ✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may look like an average neighbourhood joint, but Green Chilli surprised me in many ways!
We went as group on a Friday night, and were immediately greeted by the staff and the incredible aroma of the indian food. The restaurant was cozy, and neat and the tables were ready and prepped with napkins, cutlery and the service was extraordinary right from the beginning.
We ordered Chicken tikka, Chicken Momo, Chicken chilli, samosa, butter chicken, dal makhani and butter naan. Everything we ordered was delicious with a perfectly balanced taste including spices and seasoning. The chicken chilli is definitely my personal favourite and a must have at this place! The chicken momo is also a must have as the stuffing was juicy and delightful and packed with flavours. The chicken tikka (sizzler item) had the perfect smoky taste which we craved for! We also ordered mango lassi, which was personally the best lassi I have tasted at a restaurant- a very authentic taste.
Green chilli serves authentic dishes and we were overwhelmed with the hospitality. 100% recommend if you are trying to taste an authentic indian/nepali cuisine in the city of calgary.

I would have understood and given them the benefit of the doubt if things went sideways as we were group of 30 people crashed into this restaurant, but they went above and beyond with their service and food. Authentic staple Nepalese food, or indian, or Hakka Chinese, you name it.
I frequented few restaurants in Calgary and they are indeed at the top of my list without a shadow of doubt. Highly recommended!

Despite what others may say, their "spicy" isn't very spicy at all. It's white people spicy. So, feel free to go wild and get the food with a little bit of spice.
