★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had our daughters Mehndi evening event at Magnolia on July 16th, 2021 with approx 150 guests attending.
Jimmy went the extra mile to ensure everything was beyond our expectations. From the moment we entered the hall at 4pm to the time we exited at 2am, absolutely everything was on point. We didn’t have to worry about anything and had all the time to enjoy the entire evening with our families and our friends.
The food prepared by La Jawab was amazing!
The bar tender was attentive and served with
a smile the entire time. DJ Sandy was a HIT! Everyone was on the dance floor the ENTIRE
night. All the staff was extremely attentive
and catered happily to all our needs.
Security guards were there the entire time
giving us peace of mind.
If I could, I would give a rating of 10 stars.
Our entire experience with Jimmy Gill, from the time we first met with him to the end of our very important celebration of our
daughters wedding, and with Magnolia was beyond our expectations.
A BIG THANK YOU TO JIMMY FOR MAKING THIS A MEMORABLE NIGHT!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As part of our DJ service, we also offer Photo Booth services and met with Jimmy to discuss our Photo Booth setup for Harman & Joti's Wedding on August 7th. Jimmy and his team were awesome. When we arrived, they bolted into action and provided the necessary tables, chairs, etc. for the space we had arranged. During the evening the Magnolia team were outstanding and took care of us to ensure everything was working out. Thank you for your great service and we look forward to working with you again in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently had our daughter’s wedding at the Magnolia Banquet Hall. Just wanted to say that everything from start to finish was first class. We asked Jimmy (Manager/Event Co-ordinator) to do “family style” meal – this is where all the food is served on each table. As we wanted an Indian catering menu, mixed with some Arab style food, this was not an easy request – especially with 350 guests!
We had a few meetings with Jimmy before the event and he took care of everything from the timing, catering and to coordinating with the decorators. Our decorators had great cooperation from Jimmy and his team, and when we arrived at the hall before the wedding started, everything looked amazing. We also liaised with the DJ – who was great to work with and was very experienced.
The food turned out even better than it was at the food tasting. So many of our guests complimented us on how great the food was, and how much they loved the hot appetizer station during the cocktail hour (see photos.) The kitchen timed everything exactly to our agenda and as soon as the speeches were complete, the food was being served on the tables.
This was the first time that Jimmy had done “family style” service and it was truly amazing and beyond our expectations. The food arrived hot at each table and it looked like there was 1 server for every 2 tables. The food arrived promptly, and our guests were very impressed with this service. (It sure beats lining up at a buffet station, especially for 350 people.) All of our guests were impressed, and we were extremely happy that we used the Magnolia Hall for our daughters wedding. I would recommend them in a heart beat. Thank you to Jimmy and his amazing team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a review about the banquet hall necessarily, but a review for the owner Jimmy. Yesterday 5 of my friends and I went out for dinner and drinks. One of my friends went to ask for her bill to leave early and the waitress had whispered that all 6 of our bills that had all kinds of drinks and food on them were already paid for and taken care of. She did not tell us who it was in the restaurant that had paid for it all. Later on in the evening we found out that it was Jimmy who had paid for all 6 of our bills. Out of all of the couples and smaller groups of adults in the restaurant he chose to pay for a bunch of university students bills out of the kindness of his heart. We wanted to thank him and tell him how much it meant to us that he would even think to do that but he was gone before we found out it was him. We also later found out that Jimmy does this all the time just out of the kindness of his heart and doesn’t want the recognition because he simply does it to be a good person and pay it forward. I just want to say thank you so much for your extremely generous deed and it truly did make the rest of our night it’s definitely something I won’t forget. Thank you, thank you, thank you Jimmy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have never been a client of this business but I can attest to the kind of person their owner Jimmy is. Last night a group of me and my friends were out enjoying a dinner and some drinks when to our surprise the waitress told us that our entire tables bill had been covered. Jimmy did not only cover our bill but did so without wanting an ounce of recognition the only reason we found out who he was, was because someone had tipped us off as to who the generous person was. As as university student with student loans to pay off myself this gesture meant the world to me and my friends!! As I'm sure many small businesses are struggling through this pandemic amid rising costs and repeated business closures Jimmy still has the kindness in his heart to pick up the bill for a table of completely random people showing the kind of man he is. Jimmy thank you for the gesture and I wish you the best of luck with your business!!
