The menu is extensive despite the small venue.
The burgers are legendary and the deep fried pickles are divine.
Homemade pies and cheesecake to suffice your craving for sweet.
The decor is cottage kitsch but tasteful.
Staff are accommodating and helpful.
It’s easy to support local at this establishment, will return again and again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a family dinner. We had the Fish and chips, Meatloaf, Meat lasagna, kids had Pogo Stick, Chicken Fingers, Ceased salad and Poutine for our gluten intolerante child and everything was great and the service was amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in on our travels for a quick bite and take in some local culture. We arrived at the tail end of lunch but from arrival to being seated was 15 minutes and then the 1 hour wait for our order to arrive...fortunately we were on vacation so time was not an issue.
That being said, the servers were extremely friendly, the restaurant and the grocery out front both impeccably clean...and the topper was the perfectly prepared meals we ordered. Worth the wait which was truly a saving grace for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little spot to visit! Beautiful scenery. Went to see the "Church on the Rock", made famous by Group of Seven artist AJ Casson. Stopped for a hand scooped ice cream at the snack bar in town, picked up a few sundries at the "Grill and Grocery" store (mental note.. Bring water bottles to fill at the natural spring out front!!) and took a walk around the locks. Way more than I expected to see! Quaint and charming... A must stop on a trip down Old Nipissing Road through all the little ghost towns. ❤
