This is a situation that requires to be heard, as during times of COVID, when the elderly are most vulnerable, some people cannot help but take advantage. My Mom, who is 76 years old bought a pair of 38 size pants for my father who is 88 and is not as mobile as her, and cannot go in store to try them on. Unfortunately they were small, so my mom brought them back within 7 days (as per policy on the bill) and the owner exchanged them for a size 40. When my Dad tried on the new pair, the stitching at the bottom was defective, it did not fit uniformly. When my Mom returned them again (within the 7 days) the owner blatantly refused to exchange again or give a credit note, blaming it entirely on COVID and safety. If this is their COVID rules, they must legally advertise this on their bill and in their website. I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Protection, as it is the principle of the matter and not the money, that has now been lost by my elderly parents.
