The salon space is modern and welcoming with excellent COVID-19 safety protocols. The team was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. The lovely Chapin cut and styled my hair and I highly recommend her. She has an aesthetic eye for detail and how hair moves and gave me a beautiful style with shape that is wonderfully flattering. I’ve been there for 4 years and always had great experiences with both blonde and brown hair, and recently a had a newer stylist do a color I didn’t love! Candice responded to my email so quickly, refunded me, and came in early to fix my hair for free on a weekend! Would recommend to anyone especially because of her amazing accountability and skills! Her technique and skill is excellent and she is clearly very knowledgeable about colour. She is so client-centric and really made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Definitely coming back as soon as possible! Ocean, at the front desk, was sweet and warm and Hannah was so lovely and helpful! Would highly recommend!

I arrived for my appointment and had very pleasant interaction with my stylist and it become clear my stylist had admitted she was a newer addition to the team and had less experience. She did her best and did invite another team member to come over and give a hand. The other team member did some cutting and the original stylist took over. There seem to be some hesitation going on as far as styling my hair once she was done and in the end I just said no thank you. It seemed like I was charged only a sitting fee rather than the cutting fee for long hair. I would have given a better rating if the requested staff was available and if I was a type of person who liked very busy salon. The location is great and it was very clean.
J	Jane Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The morning of my appointment both my kids were sick, one with a fever so I didn't send them to school or daycare. I phoned the salon to reschedule, assuming there would be some flexibility because of Covid. I was politely told that they could reschedule me but that my $100 deposit would not be applied to my new appointment. I was surprised since most businesses put the safety of their clients and staff first. I had not been told when I paid the deposit that it wouldn't be possible to reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment. I asked to follow up with a manager. She did try to call me back and I missed the call. Her voicemail was abrupt and she just repeated what I had already been told. I sent an email to them, explaining that I understand that they are a small business and still needed to pay their stylist, and I proposed that $50 of my deposit could still be put towards my new appointment since the terms of the deposit weren't explained to me. I didn't get a response. I'm pretty disappointed. I'm a student and $100 is a lot of money to not get the service I was hoping for. On the plus side, the consultation I had with the stylist was great and I'm confident she would have done an awesome job. The salon itself is nice and the front desk attendant was very nice too. But the issue with the deposit was very disappointing.
