I was matched up with M and I couldn’t have been more happy about it! M understood exactly what kind of style I was looking for while I’m working on growing out my hair. M suggested ways to style my hair on my own, suggested products, and answered my questions about the best way to cover my unfortunate white hairs growing in. Also, best scalp massage ever!! Next time my hair needs any kind of care, I’ll be back ☺️ Thank you so much!

I have wavy/curly hair and she spent lots of time making sure my curls looked amazing. She put a lot of care into my cut and style! I had really needed a hair cut! Music was perfect: instrumental so you could talk over it and catchy so you felt stylish. My stylist was a lovely conversationalist and they did a great job on my hair. If the name doesn’t sell it, this sure will: I felt beautiful walking out. The only thing is is that I wish my booked hairstylist was more conversational with me (he was late to my service as well).

He’s a multifaceted hair stylist and colour artist all in one! To watch him work his craft is an art in itself. No one like it. Great results and am so excited! ? Thank you to the stylist who dried my curly locks. She is superb and the products she used brought out the volume, shine and healthy feel. She’s explained what products she used and what they do to the hair. She dried my hair perfectly and I left the salon with a full head of bouncy spiral curls - so happy!! Went out for happy hour and had a compliment! . Life is good! Thank you Gold Salon. ??

The stylist- unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she is originally from the Ukraine - was very kind and helpful. She gave me a beautiful cut, gave me some honest advice for hair products for my hair, and was very interesting to talk with. The price was also amazing- less than $60 for a cut with tax, and I have quite long hair. I appreciated the laid back and unpretentious feel of the salon. There was also a lot of diversity within the staff, something I have often missed in a lot of salons in Victoria that are notably less diverse. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We both have curly hair and he knows how to cut and style to enhance rather than control curl and wave. Lovely salon. Highly recommend Gold Hair Lounge.
