★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Denied helping me, or allowing me to attend any of their courses. Their reason: I am not on "welfare," "income assistance," so, according to the woman I spoke to on the phone, they would NOT GET ANY FUNDING FOR ME TO ATTEND THEIR COURSES, despite the fact I was not working, had no skills, and three children at the time to support. Nice of them to turn away women who would absolutely benefit from their help! I would never donate to, or recommend this place to anyone, even if they were in the same boat I was once in. In my opinion, it is a sham, a scam to gain governmental money that could be put to better use, such as schools, doctors, or even road maintenance. Don't waste your time or effort here: find someplace willing to help you, despite whether or not they receive "funding" for you. That is the true spirit of "helping someone!"
