★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful space with lovely staff. First ever pedicure and I have very ticklish feet but Annie was so amazing, I'll definitely go back! Also got recommended a deep foot moisturizure which has been night and day (and it's not slippery!) A really cute boutique and jewelry section too so plan a little time before or after your appointment to check it out!!!

If you haven't checked out Brun yet, you're missing out because this is an amazing salon with friendly staff and lots of services. They have various products to buy that are all local too. Located right downtown Victoria, close to everything. Stop in for some self care treatments here, you won't be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to love this place but I was very disappointed. I went for signature relaxation gel polish pedicure. When I arrived the person up front (owner I believe) was so kind and walked me to my seat as I waited for my appointment. That’s when things took a turn. My technician had very large inch long acrylic nails which kept poking me during the pedicure and especially for the massage. I paid $85 for this pedicure and went with the most expensive option because the reviews were so good and I really needed some self care. To be honest, I would have been better off going to a walk in nail place. I’m sure there are good technicians… in fact.. I was jealous of the lady beside me who was receiving the same service because her service was much longer with a longer massage. I arrived well after her appointment started and we finished up around the same time. Not to mention a week later and my gel polish peeled off my toe.
When I went to pay I mentioned this quietly to the owner who said she would follow up to make it right. I didn’t hear back. I don’t often write reviews but unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with the service and I would hate for someone else to have the same experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After two years of COVID and quarantine, my bridesmaids and I knew we needed some colour for my wedding this past weekend. We were recommended to go to Brun Body Bar for spray tans because they were the best, which was not an understatement! Monica greeted us with such a warm and positive demeanour and made us all feel so comfortable during our appointments. It was such a fun activity with my wedding party, and the results were absolutely stunning. We all looked like we had just come back from a tropical beach vacation and had a perfect bronze glow for the wedding. Would definitely recommend Brun Body Bar!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at Brun was wonderful from the moment I stepped in the door. Annie was so professional and had such a fine attention to detail that left me wanting to come back. Not only was the atmosphere in Brun exceptional, but the result of my tan is perfect. I am so pleased with their service and will be coming back with my bridal party for my wedding festivities throughout the year and into the future when I need a little glow. Best salon in Victoria!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love love love this downtown salon! From the moment I went upstairs to check it out, Monica was so welcoming! She gave me a tour of the space and discussed services and promotions. I ended up purchasing a package with a manicure, pedicure, and UV tanning minutes.
Every time I've gone in since, I've been greeted by the friendly receptionist Dani and she always makes me feel like family. I'm really new to the island so having such a warm friendly space to go to makes me feel good.
Brun is always very clean and tidy. I love the shopping space full of artisan goods - I have found a few gifts there for friends!
Truly a relaxing space in the centre of downtown! Don't hesitate pampering yourself there :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom and I had the most amazing pedicures at Brun Body Bar with Annie and Danika. They were both so sweet, kind and amazing at what they do! The atmosphere was so relaxing and the salon was so chic and cozy. Monica met us at the door with a warm and caring demeanour and made sure we felt comfortable before the pedicures began. I highly recommend the signature pedicure at Brun and will definitely be back again, I look forward to it! Thank you again to the lovely ladies at Brun ?
