★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The haircuts I get are always on point. The lighting in there makes me look like a ghost… I know I’m a ginger, but damn. Always friendly, reasonably priced and parking nearby. I just wish the interior appeared as put together as the cuts they deliver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Troy came recommended from a colleague and his cut definitely didn’t disappoint. His attention to detail on my fade was great and the work he did to tie in the fade into a proper taper fade on both my beard and haircut was second to none. He’s well worth the money spent as this type of quality work is what I have come to expect from my own barber on the mainland and would not hesitate to have Troy cut my hair if I’m ever over in Victoria again.
The atmosphere at the shop was also great and I really enjoyed the honest conversation I was able to have with Troy. A great experience all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $80 for a cut + shave that isn’t anything special. I’ve gotten the same done for $20 in half the time but I guess the fact that they put a hot towel on your face once really justifies the price. The cut itself was decent even if they did take off quite a bit more than I requested. The shave took a long time and isn’t really any smoother than the disposable razors I use at home.
Just another trendy barbershop that charges a lot for what smaller shops do for cheap. Went because I live close and the reviews are good but I’d wager they’re either incentivizing positive reviews from customers or putting up the reviews themselves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zoe was very friendly and courteous and gave me a very clean and professional beard trim. She made sure to ask lots of questions along the way to make sure I was happy with what she was doing. I would highly recommend Status to anyone looking for a high quality barber experience.

I walked in around 6:30 pm on a Monday (30 mins before they would close shop) without an appointment and I asked Troy if he could cut my hair. Despite being short staffed and overworked Troy generously offered to cut my hair. Not only was the cut the most accurate cut of my life but the most artistic as well. The amount of talent and experience that Troy brings to the game is just remarkable. On top of it all, Troy is genuine and fun to talk to and has a lot of cool stories to tell. What more could you ask for from a barber shop? Give it a try. You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was visit my first to Status. The shop has a great vibe with a wide variety of different cuts and services going on at each station. I got a haircut from Keaton and was impressed with his attention to detail and abilities to give me a cut that I’m super happy with…really liked the hot towel treatment at the end.
I met the owner Troy and could instantly see by his friendly personality how he has set the tone for his staff and shop to be so successful. I will definitely be going back to Status and book another appointment with Keaton.
