Je suis très déçu, J'ai dépensé 1100$ pour mes lunettes, j'ai prit ce qu'il y'avait de mieux et je vais devoir aller m'en refaire faire ailleur car je ne suis pas satisfait. J'y suis retourné a 3 reprises... Les verres craque dans la monture. La monture glisse toujours par l'avant. À la livraison il y'a vait une égratignure creuse et ils ont du les renvoyer en deuxième inspection. Comment peut-on livrer une paire de lunette sans la vérifier d'abord. New Look, terminé pour moi.
I'm very disappointed, I spent $1100 for my glasses, I took the best and I'm going to have to go elsewhere because I'm not satisfied. I went back there 3 times... The glasses cracked in the frame. The mount always slides forward. On delivery there was a hollow scratch and they had to send them back for a second inspection. How can we deliver a pair of glasses without checking it first. New Look, finished for me.

Worst eyewear franchise in the world! To help me out, I am asked $30 for 5 pairs of lenses (disposable contact lenses for the day). We make money on samples they got for free. I've been a customer for 20 years and I would never give money to these miserly franchises again. My mistake is to have given them so much money. Avoid like the plague.

Bought a pair of glasses saturday evening, but when i arrived at home, I decided to return it as I want to buy a same brand but another model. Since they were closed sunday and monday, I went to the store directly tursday. I was told that my glasses are not refundable, as it was final sales. I bought it at original price! $209. Before making payment, no employees told me that it's no return, no exchange. And on their receipt, it doesn't have such term either. After disputing for quite long time, i failed to return my glasses and very disappointed with such poor service. Having been shopping in many stores and places, this is the only store has the no return, no exchange policy for an article more than 200$, but no any written term, neither advise their clients. Such bad store. Will never ever purchase anything in any New Look store.

Insurance scam... My experience with New Look at the St-Laurent Shopping Centre was very poor. I've been going to New Look Eyewear for several years, and the treatment I got from them this time was quite horrific. My prescription changed and I needed new lenses. I have 2 pairs, one for regular use, and the other for reading. This story is for my reading glasses... I walked into the St-Laurent store with my new prescription. The sales lady tried very hard to sell me new frames. My frames were only a few years old, so I said no. She tried to convince me my frames were broken. The unusual part of this, my reading glasses were still in my purse. She hadn't even seen them yet.. If they were broken, she never showed me. She got upset with me when I didn't want to spend an extra $200-$300 on new frames. Of course, the frames broke while the lab techs 'were doing nothing to them', so I had to purchase new frames. I can only speculate and imagine what happened to them... And I still forced to purchase new frames... I called another New Look store and asked them what the life expectancy of their frames are. The manager replied, about 2 years, because that's what the insurance companies will pay. That's when the light bulb went on. I don't have insurance, so I have to pay for this from my pocket. I've spoken to the manager, and she insist my frames were broken, and since I didn't buy new ones, it's my responsibility to purchase new frames. I've been wearing glasses for about 35 years, and replacing my frames on an average every 10 years. I've never had a frame break while replacing lenses before. Needless to say, I've been scammed and there's nothing I can do about it. Now, for my regular glasses... These frames are actually newer than my reading glasses by 5 months. She also tried to convince me they were broken and I need to replace the frames. Fortunately, they didn't need to be sent out like my reading ones and the lenses have not yet come in (the order was placed almost 4 weeks ago). I brought the frames to my regular glasses to a few opticians, and they said my current frames are in excellent condition and are NOT broken. This supports my suspicion that New Look is running an insurance scam. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. What if New Look does the same thing with my regular glasses, breaks them? I'm looking at being without glasses for several weeks. Without them I can barely see, which means I can't work and no income for several weeks. The only solution was to dig out a very old pair of frames (which are also in excellent condition. I have them looked at as well), and order replacement lenses with my new prescription with a different optician. I just hope no one else gets scammed like I did...

ok experience buying the glasses at New Look Plateau Hull but horrible after sale service. I never dropped my glasses or did anything to scratch them but one lenses has 2 big scratches so brought them back 2 weeks later since I had paid extra for their scratch resistant treatment they sell you. But surprise the treatment doesn't cover or prevent scratches she told me. What is it for then and why do they sell it to everyone pretending it will prevent scratches? What a scam!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT AND DONT BUY IT!!
