Lone Star Texas Grill

Worst experience at a restaurant ever. Don’t go. Waste of time & money. We had 45 min wait at our table for 2 kids meals and 2 lunch meals fish tacos & a burger. It was Not busy at all. Was there at 11am. If there was an option to leave 0 stars I would. $70 for us to pack it up and leave. No cutlery included in our pack up so my child could eat his food in the car. Pathetic. Service was beyond rude. Manager was even terrible when I had to return to grab my phone that I accidentally left on table. She Chose to seat 3 tables before handing me my phone (they knew I was there to grab it quickly as I asked for it upon arrival and had called in advance). Will NEVER eat at this chain again. I understand pandemics - I am a healthcare worker so getting angry isn’t in my nature - normally I’d never complain but this is disgraceful. Lone star headquarters needs to reassess this location. Needs overhaul in public service.

A regular customer. Bought chips and salsa tonight for take-out and got all the way home (40 minutes from closest restaurant) and all my chips were crumbs, not to mention the bag was less than half full. I have never seen anything like it... crumbs. Shocked, I called the restaurant and all the manager could offer me was a new bag of chips (no refund or additional add-ins to make it right). I found this quite insulting, as a bag of chips is 7$ and my time/gas to get from the restaurant following their mistake, should have been better compensated for. Extremely disappointed and as a customer that spends money at your restaurant regularly, I would expect to get better treated. Will definitely think twice before going back.

Started off with a hair in the chips, which happens, but when the food finally arrived it definitely wasn’t worth the wait or the 64 dollar bill. We could have had a better experience at Taco Bell. Also there was a bug in my fajita. It took forever as well and these things do happen, I’ve been in the industry, but there wasn’t any acknowledgement of the wait, we certainly didn’t feel valued as customers. Lone star, more like no star .

Myself and sister took our parents here for their anniversary last night and I have to say it was disappointing. We don’t often complain and I know how busy a restaurant can become on a Saturday night but it just seemed to be one thing after another and I really do credit our servers for saving the experience because they were great! We got seated and our server Sunshine was really sweet. We ordered daiquiris and 2 arrived in regular schooner glasses and 1 came in a mini/small schooner. We thought it was kind of weird because one person is paying the same price for a decent amount less but hey, it’s a Saturday, it’s busy maybe they ran out of glasses? It did take awhile for the food to come out but again, it’s a Saturday night. We all ordered steaks and when they got there we did not have any cutlery or napkins. I think they had to prepare the cutlery rolls because it took a little bit to get them. My mom ordered her steak medium well and it was rare. We let our server know and she took it back to be remade. It’s kind of a bummer when that happens because by the time her meal came out the rest of us were finished. All our food was luke warm so I feel like it was sitting on the line for a while maybe? In our servers defence, they asked us if everything else was good. We said yes because we aren’t ones to complain and didn’t want to seem annoying. I will say, Sunshine was a really nice server and when she went on break, Tito took over and she is amazing. She was so funny! She honestly saved the day. Cause even though the food was not great, she was! For the price, it was not worth it. Steak was not the right choice to order off the menu! Overall the food and drinks were disappointing but our 2 servers deserve credit for saving the experience!

$60 for 2 trays of foods plus drinks.. better off spending this somewhere else. Taste was nothing special. Customer service was not great at all. This would be our first and last visit.

Huge disappointment. My husband and I were out on a date the day after Valentine’s Day. The service was fantastic. Our waitress attentive and friendly. The fresh chips they brought us were very tasty. But the rest of the meal was a huge disappointment. My fajita had absolutely no flavor. Not a hint of any seasoning. My steak wasn’t cut all the way through and it was as chewy as leather and thin. There was plenty of onions and peppers again not seasoned. There was a small amount of fresh cut up tomato and onions. It was supposed to include guacamole. I received a small amount maybe a table spoon in a half filled container. I think I tried to eat two fajitas. But I gave up because I couldn’t bit through the steak. I was actually getting embarrassed.

I'm not one to leave a bad review but this is pathetic. We came for patio and it started raining. I understand the weather is out of control, but we were told under the gazebo was reserved for someone who was still coming. We loved our server and gave her a huge tip (25%) because she seemed to be helpful. But then we took our order to go as our cups were being given a free refill of rain water. When we finally received our orders we left and upon arrival at home this food is nowhere NEAR worth what I paid. (Chicken wrap with fries) there is little to no fries included. Seems like a small order of fries from McDonald's was brought in and split between our orders. Never Stepping food in a LoneStar again.

Had a late lunch and it was a good experience. Not to busy, food served quickly and hot. Good portion, Nice environment.
