I give it three stars because AMIR in electronics WAS AWESOME beyond helpful beyond sweet tried to do everything her could to help! the package they offered wasn’t there, so Amir tried to give me a discount because usually stores honour Albertans not paying the PST and because of the other lens I wouldn’t get. The reason why I didn’t give it five stars is because Kevin the manager one was an idiotic, dismissive and should NOT be in sales for the way he treats customers. Kevin clearly works there out of desperation and not because he likes to work in customer service.

Amazing customer service for online ordering from this store. The gentleman who looked into the items I ordered, when it was out of stock, went above and beyond to help retrieve some for me. I really appreciate his work.

Is it Asian should be supported by an Asian staff? - Hi Lester! I called back to the number that you provided but I couldn’t reach you. They transferred me to another person, I told her my story but she didn’t care. It’s pointless to make the call. I believed the call should be recorded so you should listen it. Thank you for actually replying back to my review but maybe just replying to show that you care?

Anna in photo finishing is really nice and helped me a lot. She took time to call me after fixing a certain issue with my files. The store is also really nice and the cashiers are nice. Easy to find parking and located next to other convenient stores. They should try to carry organic essential oils for topical use and more brand variety and not just the ones they have right now which are just for diffusers.

Small but mighty! The staff here are very friendly and helpful compared to the larger LDs. Staff members Daria and Omar were able to order me a product that was out of stock. Thank you!

They never pick up the phone call, especially with the pharmacy, calls always dropped or been placed on hold then dropped, couldn't get through the direct line it won't even get through.

Post office staff are very friendly. This is one of my favorite post office location. I just wish on the weekends, they open earlier. 12pm is a bit late. I end up having to hop on the skytrain to go to Shoppers Drug Mart on Broadway & Commerial when I need to mail something on the weekends.

The Photolab was incredibly frustrating and incompetent. I spoke with one individual when bringing in film and they informed me that it would be sent to another store to get processed. No problem with that, and I was informed that I would get an email to pick up everything when it was finished. I come back to the store after receiving the email and the individual at the desk tells me that no one ever picks up their negatives and that the other store would have thrown them away. I explained that I have picked up my negatives every time and the individual continues to blow off my concerns. I call the Photolab in New West as they were the place that developed my photos. They informed me that they don't throw away negatives and that my images are currently being sent back to the Olympic village store. I allow for 2 weeks to pass, and I receive no email. I figure it is worth a check so I go to the Olympic village lab and encounter that same individual from before. He once again looks at me in confusion, telling me that no one picks up their negatives. I continue to ask him to at least do a physical check of their filling cabinets. Voila... My negatives are there. I am upset that the individual continued to avoid actually helping me and would rather talk down to me. The people at New West unfortunately had to be my point of contact as whenever I called Olympic Village they were useless. I've learned my lesson and won't be going there for any future photo needs.
