A Business Built on Family Values
Loewen Body Shop was launched in Carman, Manitoba, in 1937 by Isaac T. Loewen and was relocated to Steinbach two years later. His son Albert was involved in the business from his youth and took over the daily operations several years later. Albert grew the company into a thriving business, and in 1991 his son Mark was handed the reins. In recent years, two of his sons, Josh and Jesse, have moved into management and are the fourth generation to operate the family business.
From its humble beginnings in a barn with a dirt floor, Loewen Body Shop now employs 13 employees using sophisticated equipment for collision repair, and utilizes the latest network technology for Auto Body Management. We continue to offer the same friendly, one-on-one service today as we did over 75 years ago.

They took care of arranging the car rental during my repairs, the body work was done much sooner than expected, and when I got my car back it was immaculately clean inside and out. Thanks everyone!!

Offered me a ride home after drop off that morning. Literally could not have gone smoother. Good price for the efforts as well.

My mother had arrived a little bit early to pick up my vehicle and they were able to drive her back to her house, they also set up a hassle free rental vehicle for us to use while the truck was being fixed. Thank you to the amazing techs in the back for the great work they did on our vehicle it looks amazing, and top it all of our vehicle was detailed before we picked it up again. I highly recommend bring your vehicle in for any work you need done.

They gave regular updates, responded quickly, and because I lived close by, they even offered to pick me up and drop me off at home so that I didn’t have to walk in -30 weather, which I was not expecting, but was grateful for! I did have to return after the initial repairs to have another small issue taken care of, but they got me in quickly and corrected the issue free of charge. Kind, quality service! Would definitely recommend to others! ?
