 For the rental of a chipper, the employee took the time to explain the operation to us by giving a demonstration. No problem with using it afterwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location d’outils pour couper la céramique. Tout d’abord, il manquait un morceau, nous avons dû revenir au magasin. Lors de la mise en marche, la pompe avait des ratée. Ce fut très dispendieux pour 2 coupes. Conseil, vérifierez vos outils avant des louer, Perte de temps et $$.
Rental of tools for cutting ceramics. First, a piece was missing, we had to return to the store. When turned on, the pump misfired. It was very expensive for 2 cups. Advice, check your tools before renting them, waste of time and $$.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le 7 décembre 2021 je vais porter la souffleuse pour faire changer le câble qui actionne les tarières et tant qu'à être là faire l'entretien, huile, bougie et graissage.. On me rappelle le lendemain pour me dire que le " shaft "" était grippé et qu'il en coûterait 800 $ pour le changer ou 400$ pour une réparation temporaire qui pourrait durer 1 an ou 2. Je me rends sur place et on me montre la souffleuse avec toutes les pièces d'engrenage démontées. Le mécanicien essaie de me montrer où le shaft était grippé mais ,malgré que je ne suis pas connaisseur, je ne voyais rien d'anormal. Comme je ne voulais pas payer 800 $ pour une souffleuse qui m'en avait coûté 1.000 à la fin mars 2016. Je lui demande de me redonner la souffleuse et les pièces qu'il me met dans un sac. Le me mécano me propose alors de faire une réparation temporaire le temps que je la vende Je lui demande s'il me propose de '' fourrer '' quelqu'un . Pas de réponse. Je vais porter la souffleuse dans le cabanon chez ma fille en attendant de voir et vais m'en acheter une autre. Je demande à un des mes amis, qui est millwright, de venir voir la souffleuse. Il nettoie les pièces de la graisse et ne voit rien d'anormal. Il remonte le tout ,change le câble des tarières qui a coûté 20 $, et surprise, depuis ce temps elle fonctionne aussi bien qu'avant. Il ne comprenait pas pourquoi le mécano avait démonter le " shaft " puisque ce n'est pas nécessaire pour le graissage. Je ne sais pas quel était le but de la manœuvre mais je ne retournerai plus à cet endroit. . Et je mets 1 étoile puisqu'il faut en mettre au moins une pour publier le message.
On December 7, 2021, I will carry the snowblower to have the cable that operates the augers changed and while I am there to do the maintenance, oil, spark plug and greasing... I am called back the next day to be told that the "shaft" " was seized up and that it would cost $800 to change it or $400 for a temporary repair that could last a year or two. I go there and they show me the snowblower with all the gear parts removed. The Mechanic tries to show me where the shaft was seized up but, although I am not an expert, I did not see anything abnormal. As I did not want to pay 800 $ for a blower which had cost me 1,000 at the end of March 2016. I ask him to give me back the snowblower and the parts that he puts in a bag. My mechanic then offers to do a temporary repair while I sell it. I ask him if he offers me to '' poke '' someone. No response. I'll take the snowblower to the shed at my daughter's the while waiting to see and will buy me another. I ask a friend of mine, who is millwright, to come and see the snowblower. He cleans the parts of the grease and sees nothing abnormal. He puts everything back together, changes the auger cable which cost $20, and surprise, since then it works as well as before. He did not understand why the mechanic had to disassemble the "shaft" since it is not necessary for lubrication. I don't know what the purpose of the maneuver was but I won't be going back to this place again. . And I put 1 star because you have to put at least one to publish the message.

J’ai été porter ma souffleuse pour une mise au point : très difficile de la faire démarrer que j’explique.
Plusieurs jours plus tard, elle est , je vais la chercher. facture : 420$. A la première utilisation: comme avant, très difficile de la faire démarrer.A la deuxième utilisation: impossible de la faire démarrer , je la retourne, et j’explique la situation. Pas de problème que l’on me dit. Le lendemain je retourne pour la reprendre : encore une facture pour une mise au point. Par la suite : la souffleuse fonctionne toujours difficilement.
A moins d’avoir de l’argent et du temps à perdre, éviter cet endroit

I went to bring my snowblower for a tune-up: very difficult to get it started, which I explain.
Several days later, it's , I'm going to get it. bill: $420. At the first use: as before, very difficult to start it. At the second use: impossible to start it, I return it, and I explain the situation. No problem I'm told. The next day I go back to take it back: another bill for a tune-up. Afterwards: the snowblower still operates with difficulty.
Unless you have money and time to spare, avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. On m'a très bien conseillé pour les appareils de chauffage, et donner beaucoup d'information qui me fut bien utile. Considérant mon cas spécifique, je crois bien que je n'aurai pas eu besoin d'une aussi grande puissance, par contre, étant donné les température plutôt chaude à venir. Mais vaut mieux parfois prévenir que guérrir.
Great service. I was very well advised on heating appliances, and given a lot of information that was very useful to me. Considering my specific case, I do believe that I would not have needed such great power, on the other hand, given the rather hot temperatures to come. But sometimes prevention is better than cure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service expert et courtois. J'ai eu de la disponibilité instantanée pour la location d'un balai mécanique. Celui-ci était en parfait état de marche. Ils m'ont aidé à embarquer l'équipement dans mon véhicule malgré que ça n'aurait pas été nécessaire dans mon cas. C'est toutefois une marque de bon service et c'est apprécié. L'expérience est différente dune succursale à une autre et j'ai été pleinement satisfait de celle de Charlesbourg. Je recommande.
Expert and courteous service. I had instant availability for renting a mechanical broom. This was in perfect working order. They helped me load the equipment into my vehicle although it would not have been necessary in my case. It is however a mark of good service and it is appreciated. The experience is different from one branch to another and I was fully satisfied with the one in Charlesbourg. I recommend.
