prices are a little bit more expensive in compare to other stores but on the other hand the quality of the fruits and vegetables are much better and fresher, you can find some tasty roasted chicken in there if you would like to have some healthy food, and furthermore, you have tons of options of prepared foods in there with reasonable price.

CityMarket - Park Royal is an expansive supermarket with a comprehensive array of global food products, and their team is always very helpful and friendly. It is definitely at the top of one's go-to choices in the Park Royal/Ambleside area of West Van for for a bright, modern and convenient food shopping destination. City Market carries lots of natural and organic products and a bigger variety as well. Grass fed milk, gourmet cheeses incl whole wheels of parmigiano. Aged beef, 6 kinds of quiche in single serving size, more variety of breads and baked goods. And shares parking lot with BC Liquor store with huge variety of wine.

I lived the layout and design, I loved the organization and I enjoyed the large selection of EVERYTHING, had a wide selection of specialty cheeses and a wonderful deli-meat section with four different kinds of prosciutto, the customer base however were rude, seemingly unhappy drones. Lots of older impatient women on their phones huffing and puffing and tsk-tsk'ing at others and at staff. The parking was difficult to access and I had to drive around a cpl times to find a spot. The selection was worth it.

This Loblaws store at Park Royal is amazing in how it presents its wares. Every department is attractively presented and the food offered is delicious. The flower department is appealing with a fine variety of blooms and plants. Stems of orchids are irresistible to me. Phyllis Mary Bell

First time to this particular store. Very clean, great layout, fantastic selection of deli and baked goods. Downside, higher price tag, some eye popping differences, on most products compared to other grocery retail stores.

I had the WORST customer service experience I’ve ever received in my lifetime at this store. If I could give this review zero stars I would. I did my grocery order online through PC Express to do curbside pick up so that I could conveniently pick up my groceries without having to get my baby out of the car to do a big shop. When I arrived, I pulled into the curbside pick-up parking spot and called the phone number it told me to call. The operator came on and said it was “unavailable” so I had to get my baby out and go into the store. When I talked to a sales associate, Lori Fay, about my frustration with the situation, she was extremely rude and lacked any sort of tact or empathy. When the personal shopper dealing with my order came, She proceeded to tell her sales associate that I was “mad that I had to bring my baby inside?” while rolling her eyes and diminishing my experience right in front of me. When I called her on how rude she was being, she denied it and argued with me. When I told her that I wouldn’t be shopping here again because of the shocking lack of customer service, she said “That’s fine! Have a nice day!”, Sarcastically. It was mind blowing. When a different lady, the personal shopper (who was nice, I will add) helped me to my car with the groceries, I told her how upset I was with how Lori Fay treated me, I even was in tears about it. I asked her to please let her manager know, so that others wouldn’t have to experience this kind of treatment from an employee. They also forgot some items on my order, even though I payed for them. But I can’t get ahold of the store to let them know! It’s really too bad, because I really liked this store, but this experience really doesn’t make me want to go there again. *** Edited to note that The supervisor, Ryan was very helpful and responsive with this, he called me the next day personally and apologized, and offered me a gift card. When my husband went to go get our groceries, Ryan personally came over and took care of everything for us, as well as an additional gift card. This was very kind, and Ryan went above and beyond to make right the previous experience. Thank you, Ryan! This is the kind of customer service that was lacking previously, so I appreciate it.

Very nice store. Generally, good selection of products and when 'on-sale', very competitively priced. Check-Out Staff 'try their best' to be polite, friendly and accommodating. Overall, nice shopping experience. N.B. Shoplifting is rife here. Be cautious of "whom" is near to you. Loblaws Loss Prevention need to pay better-attention!
