We went there for tea and pastries and they did not disappoint. Tea was great and pastry was even better. I had the chocolate croissant which was amazing. The atmosphere was good as well and there was plenty of space for us. There was ample parking on the street as well. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

A beautiful cafe in the heart of West Vancouver. It is conveniently located on Marine Drive with ample seating for 2s and groups. The desserts are made-in-store art piece perfections. We had the Opera cake and a Truffle Gateau both of which were delightful and very tasty. The coffee beans are high quality (although I didn't ask which beans they use - whether local or not) and the Americano was nice and strong. They have a good selection of teas here as well and will bring it to you with a hot water teapot (allows for better steeping). The best of this experience was the quality of service while we dined-in at the cafe. The owners are very kind and attentive to customers' needs and it was so wonderful to see regulars who shared great reviews about the place. Next time you go, check their beautiful collection of vintage teacups. Had a great experience here and would highly recommend it.

Lunch at C.C. Violin was a most enjoyable experience. The mood is very friendly, light and bright. The pumpkin soup and sausage roll were delicious and nicely presented. We couldn't resist ordering dessert because we sat beside the display of bakery items and were tempted. My lemon meringue tart was exactly what I wanted with the added surprise of a taste of jam on the crust. I loved it. A pot of tea later and off we went happy as little children. Phyllis Mary Bell

Wow! Best quiche I've ever had, and the avocado egg salad croissant ?. There's a large selection of delectable looking cakes as well as hot and cold drinks. This is a place I will be visiting again and again.

I ordered the leek and cheese Danish (this was very very good), the thing that looks like a cinnamon bun but isn't (not good at all. It was dry old and terrible despite the lady saying everything is made fresh which Isnt true), we ordered a quiche which lacked flavor it was very little egg and all spinach and mushroom with no seasoning but we ate it cold so maybe it's better when it's hot I'm not sure. Lastly we ordered the dessert with the peach half on top this was good I have no complaints about this. The lady at the counter wasn't friendly. The place itself is lovely and the ambience is great but just make sure you don't order their old baked goods. I was really sad about the dry cinnamon bun thing. It was hard as a rock and dry as the Sahara dessert. The caramel machiato was the drink I ordered. The design was beautiful, the coffee lacked flavor it wasn't strong despite the 2 espresso shots? I'm not sure why they're rated so high.

This is an elegant and charming coffee shop with a filling lunch special, delectable pastries and warm service. It has very artistic decor (displaying that of local artists) and is clean and pristine. The pastries are really pretty and happily, not too sweet. Decor and presentation is good :) Enjoyed the quiche with pumpkin soup, and tiramisu cake, which was not too sweet. Bit pricey but the ambiance is classy and great. It is also conveniently located in West Vancouver, near to Ambleside Park for a stunning stroll afterwards.

So surprised to find such an excellent patisserie and café in West Vancouver! Once stepping in, I felt like being somewhere in Paris - blonde haired ladies and decently dressed gentlemen were chatting softly and joyfully; paintings from local artists were hanging on one side of the wall and a violin, on the other; a high wooden bookshelf filled with books was standing at the entrance; a long bar table accompanied with high chairs was against the glass entrance wall, . . . Most importantly, the cakes and the coffee they made were fantastic! I had a hot cup of coffee with a creamy heart shape, so appealing and romantic! I had a sausage roll, so crispy and tasty! And I had an avocado egg croissant, so rich and aromatic! All were real patisserie, true French styled desserts! Owned by a friendly and courteous couple, this café is a gem in the heart of Marine Drive business centre of West Vancouver.

we wanted to see why CCViolin is good. we already went to Small Victory, FDL, St Germain, MonParis Patisserie, Cup n Bun, and even Superstore & TnT, etc. we bought hot chocolate and croissants because we wanted to compare them to all cafe and bakeries that we have went to prior. the hot chocolate is not the best that i have tasted. the hot chocolate cup we have is just the usual, bland, and hot rich chocolate. we do see some chocolate at the bottom of the cup but doesn't taste like the rich cocoa as well. croissant was actually stale and hard. so it was not pleasant to eat because the staff said they will heat it up but probably forgot to do that when we were told to sit down. so me and my husband might not come back here for hot chocolate and the croissant. staff was very friendly and knowledgeable on what to do but did forget to do what he suggested to do (heat up croissant). in any case, we might try the macaroons or small cakes since it might be their specialty. The ambiance is very very good. paintings, jewelry, and other stuff is also being sold here. but for me i think they have a really good decor and bright light, but the food isn't really the best. good for long stay and just being inspired to do your work.
