Nice backcountry Campground right alongside the Little Yoho River. Four picnic tables, two bear poles, and two outhouses. The only complaint I had compared to other backcountry campgrounds I’ve stayed at is that there are no specific tent pads. Other sites I’ve been to have very specific square tent pads with wooden framing (Floe Lake, Hidden Lake, Mt Assiniboine). And if not that, then they have a numbered sign on a tree next to each “pad” where they expect you to set up (Geraldine Lakes). So here, you’re kind of left to guess where the intended places for setting up are. There are officially ten tent pads at this Campground but I’d say there are only five that are very obviously places where a tent could/should go. Would highly recommend an evening hike up to Kiwetinok Lake. You can easily cross the River from the Campground to get on that trail without backtracking to the Stanley Mitchell Hut.
