Pine Lake has been a popular camping destination for some time. The Pine Lake Liesure grounds is a more mature campground with plenty of trees that are large enough to provide plenty of shade and cover from the wind. That being said it is starting show its age in places. With the growth of rv's some stalls can feel rather crowded. Others not so much. It has a public launch for the lake nearby which is well designed and allows for quick unloading and loading of watercraft. You will have access to a beach too. Over the years the private residences have built up around the campground so the private feel that was once there is falling away. A good destination for a weekend or longer stay. Book ahead of time.

Decent place to camp. Tend to not deal with issues and since Park Bridge took over they nickel and dime over everything.

Fished the entire lake all day in our boat. Tried for pike and walleye every which way we could. Deep and shallow with not as much as a bite. Nice beaches and water was warm and decent.

This is a nice little campground, but the lake is awful and dirty, good for getting out on the boat but don't swim in it if you don't want to itch for hours. My parents spend an ungodly sum of money to keep a spot year after year where their trailer stays. In terms of value for your dollar it's about on par with other campgrounds BEFORE you take their staff and long list of rules into account. Everything down to the layout of your site is regulated as a seasonal camper, they make you submit a site plan for approval to build a deck. They have a very overzealous staff and a whole lot of rules you need to follow if you want to play house at Pine Lake. Curfew is 11:00PM, and security will be there at 10:58 to shut you down. In recent years they seem to be chilling out where that is concerned but it's a big place and they might just be harassing the paying customers on the other side of the campground or something. They want their pound of fat for everything, so expect resistance if you want to have any sort of get together at your site. My parents did a karaoke night, so of course they tried to move it into their space where they could make a buck off of it. If you have small kids this place can be just right for you. They pretty much have the run of the campground and there is a pool and events put on for the kids. While I am very critical of these guys after having watched the way they treated my parents over the years I do have to say they seem to be working on their issues. I have two sets of uncles and aunts who are also seasonals now as well so it seems we'll be hanging around as well.

This is a nice lake, it's quite and you can enjoy time with your friends and family. I had been here pre covid and not sure how it is been post covid with so all the on going restrictions but it was good for water activities. It's a nice place to plan a short trip from Edmonton or even to stop by while you going to drumheller

Wow what Downfall this place has become. Use to be one of the go to places in Alberta but Management has slowly let this place decline. Rules are there but are seldom followed well they are followed for some and not others. Park manager plays favorites to those he likes and bends the rules where he sees fit. They have a 10km rule in the park and the own workers don't follow it but yet they hand out tickets to campers that have no way to argue. Quiet hour is at a 11pm but not in some areas of the campground, son of the manager is partying with the group till like 1-3 am. Some Teenage bullying going on within the campground sadly ruins it for others. Store not being fully stocked - no more kitchen, Pool was only available for half the season and then shuts down after long weekend. Rules around Trailers are at the Park Managers discretion. first it was 15 years, then it was 15 years plus ever year you get checked, then it was told 20 years is the max that it can onsite. yet they have trailers there from the 90's. Prices keep going up for the year yet amenities decrease. If you bring up anything to the park manager it is well if you don't like the rules you can leave as we have a waitlist for people coming in. If you reach out to Parkridge you get no response from them at all. I get it, it is a business but a little phone call, email back or meeting goes a long way

The past couple of years sadly has been a decline in customer service and a decline in amenities with increase in costs. the park manager needs to learn some communication skills, as well as follow the own rules set out for the campground and not bend the rules when he feels it is necessary. The amenities of what is posted on there website is not accurate. park manager needs to take feedback and not punish campers for that feedback. The whole rule of older trailers in the park is a joke. and all of a sudden new rules where created because the park got allot of negative feedback. The Park itself is a beautiful place with mostly great campers to hang out with and make friends. I will surely miss the people that is for sure.

Nice resort, kept very clean, nice friendly staff, the guy who organizes the events does such an amazing job. I felt the place was ruined by bullying not only from older kids but by their parents too (pretty shocking really). I know this has been a problem on the park for a while now it's also people who have been on the park for many years who clearly think they own the place and are not very welcoming at all, if this was dealt with more seriously and those people removed from the park it would definitely be a great resort, staff know exactly who these people are as they have had numerous complaints. Such a shame we only had our spot for one season and felt like we had no choice but to leave. Underage kids driving around on golf karts too was a big problem. Also had items stolen from our spot.
