You can tell that every item on the shelves has been intentionally chosen, and the layout and decor had been put together with so much love. The owner of little peeps, Alyssa, perfectly matches this quaint store...She is refreshingly friendly, helpful, and honest! I went in trying to find a gift for a little girl who has EVERYTHING! she asked me all the right questions, and steered me toward the perfect choice! I'm so happy I stumbled on this store... I highly recommend and have already been back since!

The lady who owns and runs it takes such care with her customers to make sure that their experience in her store (even if not to buy) is a good one. Her items are selected so that literally everyone who enters should find something that fancies them, their children and/or kids that they care about. I wish every store in Toronto had a feeling like this. It will not only remind you of why people go into selling children's things not only for the money but because they honestly love their job and choose to share their happiness with all who enter. It will remind you of the reason why people love Canadians - because we care and smile at everyone. Thank you for reminding us all of that!

I never know what to buy for babies anymore so Alyssa’s advice is invaluable. Alyssa has a design/art background that she has focused on a wonderfully spacious and beautifully curated shop for children. Little Peeps has been the go-to, for kids and their families, in Riverside/Leslieville for over ten years, for many reasons. You can also just give them the gift receiver’s details and they will have a number of great, safe and environmentally friendly options that are a perfect fit. I would recommend this store higher than Five Stars, if that option was available ❤️?????

The woman behind the counter said she couldn’t honour the sale prices because we were using a gift card. “It would be like we were paying you to take things away”, she explained, with a straight face. It was so absurd I thought she was joking, but she wasn’t. It made absolutely no sense at all. We discharged the gift card as best we could and never returned.
