Ordered online, got a defective and scratched up product. I finally (after 2 weeks) got in touch with customer service. Yesterday I called to confirm that this location will be open on Family Day (they said were) so I made a trek to the store. No one there, no phone calls answered, no signage.

Purchased 5 items. Didnโ€™t check the comforter set in the store or when I got home. After a month, I finally unpack the set; turns out it has brown stains on it (leaving it to your imagination). Called the store and sent them these pictures. Following the return policy, I was asked for the receipt, which I was never sent (u can choose to be sent by email). At the time I didnโ€™t care because I didnโ€™t want to rerun it. Traced the transaction in my bank account and sent them a copy of that, but I was denied a store credit. I offered to take a loss from the lowest promo price of the product for store credit but they kept asking for the receipt they never sent. Iโ€™m stick with a comforter set, the cushions, and the wasted $$$ and time. How about a sales system that can trace and track the promotions and customersโ€™ receipts if you are emailing them? Itโ€™s 2020, you know! Iโ€™m very disappointed. Linen Chest used to be my favorite store.

The store was larger than I thought. The kitchen items were a little overpriced. Check for sales before purchasing. There are loads of home decor and furniture items too.

It was a pleasure to deal with Laura, Manager, 261 Richmond St. West. She is the most customer centric, totally professional, most pleasant individual I have dealt with in a long time. She sees the big picture and not petty like other stores!! She deserves a pat on the back and a big promotion! She's an asset to Linen Chest. God bless her soul!! S. Qassim

i was here just a few days ago and i appreciate the cashiers doing their best on their job. however, the manager training them shouldnโ€™t be talking to the employees like that because her comments were very degrading. itโ€™s very unprofessional especially talking to them like that in front of the customers.

Terrible customer service with Sandra. I went into the store looking for a duvet cover set. There were none in the size that I was looking for. The sales person that was helping me said that she would try ordering it online or if it wasn't available, she would give me the one used for the model. Sandra then came afterwards showing the exact duvet cover set to another customer. The sales person helping me explained to Sandra that I was looking at this set first and Sandra didn't care and gave it to the other customer. She spoke me to and was very unprofessional and didn't want to tell the other customer they couldn't have it, so she said too bad. Terrible experience at this store, especially with Sandra.

edit: before they replied to this review we already reached out through their website. It's useless, they're not helpful. They want us to send it back (not free) after we dry clean it. They did not mention a resolution afterwards, only "IF the manufacturer thinks it's their fault". It makes no sense for us to jump through hurdles for a bad product that's already causing such a headache. The quality is terrible for both the flat sheet and the king size down duvet we ordered. There are small feathers everywhere on the daily that are coming out of the duvet, it's all over my floors. The flat sheet pilled after 2 days of use. Not too much of a concern compared to the feathers. Their website also filters out most bad reviews and only displays the good ones. It also looks like they have terrible customer service from a quick Google search. See pictures, this is unacceptable and they were not cheap either.
