β β β β β I started seeing Omar and Vinosha in June of 2021 at the Athlete's Care at John and Richmond after many years struggling to find physiotherapists with a direct approach to rehabilitation.
And I'm very happy I did.
Since my first appointment, I have steadily made improvements to my mobility, and I have gradually added new stretching circuits to my ever-increasing arsenal that help with pain management. At previous physiotherapists, my progress was stunted due to the nature of operations -- a "shop"-like atmosphere that prioritized client volume over one-on-one support. A real set-it-and-forget-it experience that emphasized a TENS machine as the primary mode of therapy.
What I've come to expect from Omar and Vinosha is a mix of modalities that have helped support my progress, from hands-on manual therapy to stretching guidance and support. Omar even introduced me to a very supportive method of acupuncture that I find very helpful for acute pain and deep muscle stimulation.
I have suffered from chronic pain for 5 years, due to disc degeneration and postural issues that have not been properly assessed in previous physiotherapy sessions, so I was happy to find not one, but two physiotherapists, who seem excited about repairing my broken body.
I highly recommend this clinic if you're looking for one-on-one support, and smart and enthusiastic physiotherapists who are happy to celebrate your wins right alongside you.

β β β β β Been going to Athletes Care for just over 2 months now. Really clean facility, great physiotherapist and their appointment booking system is very user friendly. I recommend this location to anyone looking to improve your mobility due to wear and tear and from past injuries and surgeries.

Having been there for physio treatments - I've repeatedly noted how attentive everyone is, my practitioner was very knowledgeable, passionate, explained everything from start to finish and gave me tips/exercises to do at home to help with my recovery. I'm really looking forward to my next appointments here at Athleteβs care. I recommend the clinic without hesitating.

β β β β β I had a very positive experience with the Richmond and John team. My online physio appointments quickly identified some great exercises to help alleviate plantar fasciitis. I felt considerable improvement after just a couple of sessions. Omar also made some great suggestions to address longer-term issues related to an old knee injury. He set up a maintenance routine that I now do on my own to help strengthen the weak spots. I highly recommend the Richmond and John team!

β β β β β What is unique about this place, beside expertise and great people skills, is an option for a virtual care. Yes. For those of us, who are house-bound, my therapist is able to diagnose my problems through movement on camera, and get me to fix those issues through prescribed movements and exercises. It's been a blessing, particularly during Covid times, to be able to access excellent physiotherapy care without having to leave my home. I am so grateful!
