About Lil E Coffee Cafe

According to SPP Communiqués from the University of Calgary (2017), nearly two-thirds of adults with a developmental disability in Canada are not in the workforce, even though many are ready, willing and able to work. Three in four of survey respondents reported their disability had created barriers to employment.

It’s time to make a change. Lil E is not just a job opportunity. We are facilitating a journey for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build meaningful and long-lasting careers; in turn creating a more accepting and inclusive community. The staff is super friendly and the shop has a great atmosphere. I try and order coffee here regularly even though it's a 10-15 minute walk from my office. I love to support businesses like this! Keep up the good work Lil E!

Absolutely love the building it’s located in and they surely found a way to make this cool cafe modern & cozy at the same time! I fully enjoyed my oat latte, got great quick and friendly service, and even took a few extra minutes just to sit on the gorgeous seats and take in the view of the space. We came when it wasn’t busy. I bet the vibe of this place is even better when there are lots of people around. One thing to note is that this place doesn’t have much food items, but they do have some baked treats. The shop is small so it’s understandable that space is limited. Still worth checking out regardless!
