Good lawyers who did a good job.

I would not hire Rachel Woynorowski. I recently asked her to draw up an agreement for me, giving full details of the timeline I needed it completed in. She seemed professional at first and gave me a quote that was rather reasonable, the agreement ended up costing way more than I originally planned on paying but I paid it anyway, then when it came down to the wire, I did not receive correspondence from her in a timely manner at all. I received sparse answers or no answers at all. She then called me and was extremely rude on the phone, made me feel stupid and was not helpful. I don't know much about law, but I do know about customer service, and hers is terrible. I did not feel valued. I felt cheated out of money and completely disrespected. I was given poor advice. When I tried to explain that I was unhappy with the services, she couldn't even bother to respond to me. She didn't care, she had my money. Just sent me a final invoice and that was it. Be warned. You can do better than Rachel. Much much better. 1 star because I had to fire her and hire someone else to do my agreement from scratch.

Great group of lawyers - they were the second law firm I hired after my first lawyer wasn't able to get things done to help me finalize thing from my divorce. I really liked working with Zoe, Roxy and Rachel. Unlike my previous lawyer they were conscious about my limited budget and not being able to take a lot of time off from work.

My marriage ended in the first year of my daughters life. I was scared that I would lose custody of my daughter so I did a lot of research to find Diane Harms. She is a brilliant lawyer and she is clearly in love with the law. I told Diane to expect a major contentious irrational battle over my daughter. Diane told me that our strategy would be to take the “HIGH ROAD”, and to trust that I will get 50/50 custody of my daughter in time. As expected, my divorce was a nightmare. The ex took me to court numerous times attempting unsuccessfully to reduce my meager parenting time from 16 hours a week, down to 4 hours/week (a 65% decrease). On fathers day I was provided a private investigation report – I had been followed for a month during my parenting time by 7 different investigators – who took pictures of me and my daughter at the Zoo, science center, my mothers house, my sisters house, and many play grounds around Calgary. This report worked against my ex, as it provided evidence that I was a good, engaged, and loving father. Once our case arrived in the proper courts we countered; seeking more parenting time. In court, Diane is a brilliant, calculated, and a rationale litigator. The result was that we won more parenting time and overnights! The entire divorce took 2.5 years. It was long and hard but Diane did everything possible to make progress every step of the way. We recently concluded our divorce and I won 50/50 custody of my now 3 year old daughter. For a father, this is a huge victory, as the law is biased towards mothers in divorce. I would not have come close to this victory without an amazing, astute, calculated lawyer like Diane Harms. It was expensive, but my daughter is worth it. I recommend Diane to anyone that wants real results. If you are rationale, and want to take the high road in divorce, Diane Harms is the divorce lawyer for you. If you are vindictive, and want some sort of revenge in your divorce – you better hope that your counterpart does not hire Diane.

My children had the great misfortune to have Rachel Woynorowski appointed by the court to represent them. Ms Woynorowski deliberately ignored children’s request for psychological help and used her position to manipulate and fabricate a false narrative! She is arrogant, disrespectful and will abuse her position to take sides with the lawyers that can serve her interests while violating the trust of children!

Lainie Chan is a world class lawyer. They got everything I wanted. Could not recommend more.

Heather McKay was a wonderful lawyer that helped me through my separation and divorce. She was very responsive and transparent. Her responsiveness and attention to detail was above and beyond.
