Horrible experience. I’m a local business owner who used there embroidery services . They told me 3 days. On day 5 I called and they abruptly told me there’s a conference at head office. That’s why they were late getting my embroidery done. I don’t know what the means but ok? So I wait 7 more business days. And call again. They say in another day or two it will be done. This conference keeps coming up as the excuse. So finally 5 more business days later I go in. One gentlemen working there kinda hustles to help me. Gets on the phone too head office and they hang up on him 3 times! Then another 4 days later they call me and say my embroidery is done. After almost 20+ days they did my embroidery so wrong. They had zero cares About how it looks. It looks nothing at all like the original embroidery. I was going to buy 20 -30 embroided hats ever 2-3 months for my workers. Now I’m 17 days behind schedule on getting my hats completed and I have to find someone else’s service cause lids literally has no care for customer service . You left me hanging for 20 days. To find out your just going to create what ever logo for my company you wanted. It looks nothing like my logo. Horrible customer service. Didn’t even offer me a sale on the hats or anything. Just told me to have a nice day. Who ever the owner of the store is should probably contact me.

Horrible experience. I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered 12 hats and then had the store manager (Tyler) accuse me of stealing one. Tyler is very rude and has horrible customer service skills. I made a complaint to the district manager (Paul) and had him review the video with the store manager who accused me of stealing a hat. The video was reviewed and, of course, it was made clear that I hadn't stolen any additional hats. At this point, I asked Paul, the district manager, what will be done to which he replied that he would send me a gift card. I don't really care too much about the gift card because I don't plan on going back to Lids. However, I said okay and I told him that I would accept a gift card for my troubles and for being wrongfully accused of theft. The funny thing is, Paul was just trying to push me off, never intending to actually send the gift card. I gave him my name and address and didn't receive anything. After a while, I called Paul and asked him about the status of the gift card. He apologized and said he would send it asap. Still nothing. Every time I have called regarding this I have received the same response which was an apology and Paul saying he's been busy or something and promising to send it asap. This is not a good store to do business with. Not to mention the prices are very high. I've realized that I can get the same Flexfit hats with better quality embroidery for about $17. I came to this store a while ago looking for a hat that both fit well and looked good on me. When I walked in I was greeted then after they gave me some time to look around a man named Tyler came up to me and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was there for and he helped me pick out a hat that I liked and fit well. He also told me about hat customisation. I recommend coming here!

Finally had time to return a hat that I had purchased online and the manager by the name of Tyler was so rude and would always make it hard to do a simple return. He would always smell the hats and make me feel stupid for even returning the hat. I would explain to him that I would order 2 or 3 of the same hats since sometimes they all fit differently since they are hand made (5950s), and he would look at me like I'm stupid. I would tell him the reason for my return and he would make me feel so uncomfortable. Sometimes, I would receive a hat that is damaged or even dirty from an online order, and he would totally look at me as if I did it to the hat myself. This guy needs to go. All of the other staff that I usually liked dealing with there has left because of him. I would now make my way to the Pickering Mall location because they are so much nicer there, even though Oshawa Mall is so close to where I live. I rarely go into the Oshawa store now because of that manager. Get rid of him. I even complained formally to the district manager Paul, and nothing has changed with Tyler's attitude. I guess he cares more about the numbers that his store provided in terms of sales than actual customer service. Remember, doing a return would subtract from the number of sales. But that shouldn't even matter. He should treat every customer like it might be their last, because of this continues from Tyler, I'm sure that customers would rather go to other Lids stores for their hats. I don't usually post any reviews online, but I think this guy (Tyler) should be made aware of how bad his customer service skills are.

I have been to this location twice so far and dealt with same gentlemen and I was very disappointed with his customer service skills no hello didn't want to explain anything asked fwq questions and answers were very limited I would not go back ..

Amazing experience with Sheldon!!! I had this idea to get a hat personalized for my dad and Sheldon made it happen. I didn't even know threading hats with my own custom font and wording was even possible or affordable. Love this place! Service was excellent and they got it done in like 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend!!

Completely promised that the digitizing would be ready by a certain date, when I called on that specific date to confirm if it was ready they told me that there was an error on their end and that it would take an additional 3-5 days. Unacceptable!

Amazing staff Member named Lee! I went in to get a NY Yankees hat .Sadly it was for a family member funeral & wanted a representation as this was the persons favorite team .Lee put Rest in peace on the hat & his name ..priceless ! Great ? job young man ! The young lady was a great help too
