History

Lethbridge Vehicle was established as a result of the government’s privatization of motor vehicles in December 1993.
We opened our doors in January 1994. At this time we were located in the College Mall with only 2 tills and 3 staff to serve our clients.
Today we have a staff of 10, and 5 tills and our office has expanded & changed significantly to serve

In Lethbridge, we are conveniently located in the College Center Mall on Mayor Magrath Drive, directly behind Montana’s.

I did my drive test here with Bruce. It was a great experience. Everyone here was very professional and awesome and i also learnt a few little tricks to improve my driving thanks guys. You are awesome.

I’ve been to this registry many times in the last few years. I’m a very polite and punctual person, especially when talking to government workers. Their customer service is some of the worst I have seen anywhere. Every time I have visited, they have been condescending and rude. I echo the same feelings as lots of people on these reviews when it comes to the employees rolling their eyes and sighing when you are just trying to do something simple. I will always convince people to do their business elsewhere. Edit: Thanks for the canned response, Dave. You certainly care.

The Asian lady working tonight, Jan 28th 2022, was extremely hostile and had a judgemental attitude. Just all around very rude behavior. Will not be back.

Beyond happy with the help I received today. Michely was so nice and helped with my registration. It was a particularly difficult one and she and the other amazing ladies didn't give up and wanted to help anyway they could.

I went in for renewing a document, and the person helping me was phenomenal. Very friendly and worked efficiently! I forgot to ask her for her name, but she was at the front desk registry, had glasses on and had blond hair, the second person on the left side. Loved the service provided! :) Highly recommend !

Honestly, I am very disappointed with the lack of helpful service I was provided today. I was not aware of the β€œtake a number system” therefore, I did not know if I had to let the tellers know my number or use an online website to confirm my number to be helped. So I grabbed a number and waited in line for my turn. Ahead of me was a lady who did not have a number and she was told to come over so she could be helped so I thought okay maybe the number idea was no longer a thing. I then was the next person in line and when a lady told me to come up to her till, I greeted her and in response I got no greeting and was only asked if I picked a number. I informed the lady that I was a little confused and wasn’t sure if I had to do anything with it. She then asked me my number and I told her. Then she looked at me and with an irritated tone said β€œyeah no there’s about three people ahead of you” and told me to wait longer. This was understandable but the way it was addressed could have been done better. After the three people were helped, my number was called. I went up to another lady where I proceeded to tell her what I needed done. Honestly it was my first time registering a new vehicle from an old one on my own as my parents have helped me in the past in my teenage years so I wasn’t completely confident. She then proceeded to question if I had even purchased the vehicle, which would make no sense because you would have to be an owner of a vehicle in order to put insurance on the vehicle and in order to register it you need insurance. She then asked me if I had a particular document. I had all my documents but I seemed to had forgotten one. I did have a picture of it and the teller proceeded to look at me like I was completely clueless. She then told me that if I didn’t have the physical copy there was no way of her knowing if the sale was legitimate which is understandable. The thing that makes me upset is the tone and attitude she took with me as well. She could clearly see that I am a young women who is not completely aware of everything and could have guided me in a much better manner. I will not be going back to this registry in Lethbridge. I had honestly felt that maybe I was over reacting in feeling they were being ignorant but by reading these reviews and speaking with friends and family, I am clearly not the only person who feels this way. Customer service workers should value satisfaction for all customers, and strive for their customers to have the best experience but frankly it seems as though this place could care less.

Always have wonderful service. I took my Class 5 Adv road test here and they were very understanding and looking out for success. I was extremely nervous and both the examiner and the customer service lady were very respectful and helped me through the process. The examiner I had was a very professional man who helped me improve my driving while still keeping the test casual. It's definitely not the easiest test but he made it a great experience. Afterward, the customer service lady was so kind! She was very friendly and talkative and really eased my nerves after the test. Wonderful people working here and examiners that they bring in. Would recommend taking your Class 5 Adv road test here and any other registration needs :)
