β β β β β I used to like this place but I find the food is ok at best, portions are smaller and the prices are higher.
My wife had friend shrimp, three weren't de-wormed.
We had two combos and water to drink and it came to 42$

β β β β β I am absolutely stoked!!!! I moved to Gibbons 2 years ago and have ordered food here about six times. Each time it gets worse but tonight broke the proverbial Camels back. Ordered food and they gave us a time of one hour from ordering. get there to pick up right on time and waited 15 minutes to be told that they couldn't provide me with Choy mien..... No bean sprouts.... funny because the last two times I had ordered they put noodles in the Choy mien instead of bean sprouts. Needless to say I am torqued at this point. They are so disorganized, 10 minutes l am finally acknowledged as the majority of my food sat on the front counter for the last fifteen minutes needless to say in was luke warm at best. Egg rolls are terrible. chicken was paper thin (All Batter). Very over priced. NEVER AGAIN!

Spring rolls that are the size of my finger?
And those won tons? that's not even proper type of wrapper you should use and next to nothing for filling.
Sooo much salt on the dried garlic ribs.
Chicken chow mein is basically soup it was very oily.
Total waste of money.

β β β β β First time we ate here was because we were visiting someone in Gibbons. For small town Chinese the food was great, service was friendly and attentive, portions are large and prices are fair. Wor Wonton, Spicy Shrimp, Beef and Broccoli, Special Chow Mein and the Beef Satay were all very flavorful and perfectly cooked. They also make some excellent Vietnamese style bowls. It was so good my wife and I drove from Edmonton just to have supper there again and there are not many Canadian style Chinese restaurants I would drive very far to go too. If you want some great Chinese food and you are out for a drive in the country, stoop in to this main street restaurant in Gibbons.

β β β β β A small town Chinese Cafe rarely disappoints. Service was prompt, friendly and aware of me at all times. Quite possibly the best Wonton Soup I have ever had.

β β β β β This was honestly not good. I NEVER leave reviews but we paid a good chunk of money for something none of us are going to eat. I gave it the extra star because I will say it was really hot even after a period of time. Super bland, hardly any sauce.. I donβt want to bash, but be warned ??ββοΈ
