★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gentleman working in the shop was very helpful and sincerely welcoming. He gave us good advice, the bikes were of good quality and the helmets were clean and in great condition. We spent a couple of very pleasant hours riding along the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were not entirely sure if the place was open during COVID times (this was August 2021). The reviews were from a while ago and a phone call redirected us to a voicemail box that was full. However, their Facebook page showed some recent signs of life. Vélo Vert is a non profit enterprise devoted to social intergration, so we really wanted to do our part. We went anyway and fortunately it was open. We were lucky as we understood it wouldn't be the days after, due to a ferry strike. Service was excellent, the prices were very low. I forgot how much we paid exactly, but I think it boiled down to about $7 per bike per hour, one of the bikes was an e-bike no less. We cycled west along the the 'Parcours des Anses' pathway and on very quite road after the path ends and admired the parks, the shore line and the historic homes. Highly recommended for half a day.
