★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best breakfast place in MTL. They offered a 4 piece sample of their breakfast menu. Only place that offers this, that I came across. It is cozy and hospitable where new comers are treated well. My picture does not include the dessert which was very cool and delicious (one of a kind).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the "surprise" and it was fantastic. We got to have a small portion of all the items on the menu. That french toast with blueberries on top was amazing. Definitely recommend, but for a small group (max 4) since it's a tiny place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best in town. Very small and does not take reservation. The menu varies according to the tastes of the chef, but it is always invariably good. Fun fact: they don't serve coffee, but they encourage you to go and buy it next door. Strongly recommended, but only to small groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect. Flawless food, both in preparation and in the balance of the flavors. The lunch was light and just the right size. The chef was sublimely calm and really friendly to everyone. The atmosphere is laid back, yet it has class to it. What a gem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i stopped in with a friend (who happened to know Fred, the chef-owner) at the moment when the small homey space was filled with the smell of winter comfort. what was that smell? Chai on the stove! and it was delicious! the menu looked enticing, too. beware, not open on Wednesdays and they only take cash, so come prepared! but come!! i look forward to trying the food on my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice restaurant. Small with a very warm atmosphere. No Reservations, No credit cards, but nicely cooked fresh food with a healthy menu that changes regularly, following the seasons and the chef inspiration. Very friendly and attentive staff, looking after every detail.
