Like countless couples planning to get married in 2020, we had to make the decision to either postpone or adapt our wedding day. We chose the latter and had to start over the planning in a different province and in less than a month!
In tandem with Gabrielle Desmarchais Photography, Julien helped us realize our Covid elopement! Seeing as government regulations made it impossible for us to get married near our family (in NB), it was very important that we find a way to share our day with them despite the distance. Julien delivered in amazing fashion!
Our wedding day is a day that we will never forget with incredible emotions from tears to laughter, and Julien did an immaculate job in capturing these feelings. Watching the video brings us back to these moments and for that we will be forever grateful. Beyond that, our extended families will have a chance to not only see moments from our wedding day, but also share the emotions that made the day so special.
Julien was an absolute pleasure to work with, even though the conditions of the day were less than ideal (43C weather and no air conditioning!!). He is such a kind and calming person. He even made us feel like we were movie stars (even though, we know we are nothing near that! ;) ).
Julien, on souhaite te remercier pour tout ce que tu as fait pour nous! On apprécie énormément non seulement ton travail, mais également d'avoir eu l'opportunité d'apprendre à te connaitre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my husband and I began looking for a videographer, we fell upon a gorgeous 1 minute teaser made by Beau Video that was featured on the Junebug weddings blog. When they wrote back to us with their pricing, we were ecstatic to discover how reasonably priced they were. Despite their competitive price point, you are NOT sacrificing on quality. When our big wedding plans were postponed due to covid, we planned a small elopement. Julien was incredibly flexible with the ever changing circumstances and an absolute pleasure to work with the day of. He made us feel so comfortable, as though we were just hanging out as friends. When working on the video, he emailed us “drafts” for any feedback. I’ve been told by many of my friends that other companies are not as receptive to feedback and/or music suggestions but Julien actually invited our input so that he could better understand our style. The process was seamless and the end result was absolutely amazing - we could not be happier! This year, we finally had our big celebration and once again, we had an amazing time with Julien. He is extremely professional, always shows up early and brings a calm energy with him. Another plus would be how discreet his equipment is - no big bulky camera or bright light causing your guests to run away while on the dance floor.
Corrado and I are so grateful to have stumbled upon your work and to have been able to work with you not once but twice (lucky us). We can’t wait to see what magic you create again this year!
