★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited about 9 stores looking for a coffee table and rug. 6 of the stores had items we had considered to spend a decent amount on. My sweetheart and I cycle everywhere, reducing our environmental footprint, saving money. We dress casual, and get mistaken for being underaged frequently.
The reason why we didn't purchase from those 6 stores: we were never greeted or acknowledged for at least a lap around the store (most these stores are widespread with 2 floors) even if we walked past a free sales rep. If it came down to having to ask a rep a question, we were met with hesitation and as if we didn't belong there or couldn't afford the items in the store.
Only 3 of the 9 stores, Lavish designs included, had been one to welcomed us and did not discriminate. Thank you for redeeming my view on judgy and stingy furniture store reps. It was a painful day, but you're store had redeemed a portion of our day.
Great store, welcoming and non judgmental staff. we left with a perfect rug that matched our bathroom and a very kind experience with the rep working yesterday. Thank you so much.
