Lave Auto 88 Car Wash

UPDATE 13th April 2022 As promised, the good people at 88 Car Wash made it up to me and compensated for the service given the first time around. Staff was still as friendly as the first time and did a really great job in detailing my car in record time when I brought it back. I understand that we are all human and mistakes will happen. It is how we handle them in the end that shows good character. The people at Lave Auto 88 Car Wash indeed, showed good character. I will definitely go back as this mistake was handled well and with grace. I recommend this place as I believe they are trying (and will try) their best to make you satisfied with their services. Thank you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW Despite the reviews, I thought that I would give this place a chance. There were major areas missed inside my car. Splash (mud) marks from the cleaners all over my gear space and front doors. Controls were not dusted at all. Massive streaks all over the windows. Every single one of them. They were dirtier than when I went in to get them cleaned! I tried to windex the greasy steaks off when I got home (first time that I have had to clean my car after paying a “professional” to clean it) but had to do it 3x to get the grease off. They were obviously using dirty and oily rags to clean. I had such high hopes for this place but was sorely disappointed. Staff were nice but I was paying for a clean car. The woman behind me remarked that no one seemed to know what they were doing and that this place had really gone downhill. She had been there before. Do not recommend!

They are very much professional. However, I still found a few times they did not clean the car properly. There was some dirty places at the lower part of the outside body. Sometimes the car was not dried properly. Last winter I had one instance when they used wax and they did not dried the car after wash and when I was outside after the wash I found wax was frozen on the car body. Apart from that they are very good at interior cleaning. They are more professional than other auto wash in Montreal.

Just came out of the carwash wasn't satisfied (look a the picture) I do understand that I came around 5pm but still too much dirt on my car... 1 of the employee was exceptionally dedicated (the hulk) thumbs up to him

I chose this place because it was close to my home and the reviews were good.It turned out to be the wrong decision. Car is still dirty. The guy who cleaned the car from the inside did a horrible job. Will never come back .I will go somewhere else next time

La vitre avant est devenue pire qu'avant et j'ai presque eu un accident. JE NE RECOMMENDE PAS DU TOUT! The front glass became very blurry and I almost had a car accident while driving at night. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! + As response to the owner's comment, yes i did use the ventilation - cold and hot- but it did not disappear.

I trusted the reviews and they're 5 minutes from my house,so I brought my car to be washed, It's a brand new car that I got 5 weeks ago, it was not a 10-year-old car with accumulated dust and dirt, just normal wear and tear for 5weeks to be washed! They did a terrible job according to the condition of the car, I wish I could get more pictures of the glasses, bud it couldn't show, some parts were full of soap...the interior as well I shared some pictures... for spending 25 minutes in the line just to get in it didn't worth it at all

If there is anything those guys can't do... Make my Old , badly pained old Ford, looks like a New car ? Keep shopping! You will always comeback here for the result and unbeatable prices. Thank you guys ! Really. Thank you ! For being honest and professional.

I went for a car wash there. First there is a lot of wait time which is okay, but then they don't clean inside properly. One needs to tell that this/that is not done. He called me second time for a free wash when I went there the Guy named Garan* started abusing me which is totally unacceptable. One of the bad car wash in the city. ☹️
