We used La Porte Moving to pack, move and store our belongings for a large renovation we were doing. They were extremely efficient in the pack and move - I think it would take my husband and I 10x longer! Fragile items were so well packed, it was crazy and nothing broke! They helped put all furniture back in it's place and the office is very responsive. I would highly recommend it

I was referred to LaPorte from a friend as she touted the service she received from the movers she hired. She noted that they were professional, trustworthy, courteous and careful with her possessions and the protection of her home and her belongings. I can confirm that we experienced the same. Our movers from LaPorte (Sam, Mike and Mike) were all of the above. They were timely, honest and helpful. While we await our new home to be ready, in our case they moved our items into storage and witnessed one of the best games of Tetris I have ever seen as they carefully got all our items into the storage locker. Feel confident knowing you are in good hands if you decide to hire this company. I will request the same 3 guys to assist with the move into the new place when that time comes. Hello! I’ve used LaPorte Moving twice… both having everything packed and moved, once around the lower mainland and now, this time into the interior. I found them to be very prompt, professional and friendly. All people( both Crews) each time looked like they enjoyed what they were doing and that showed in their behaviour and work ethic. I would not hesitate to hire them again if I need to make another move!

This has to be by far the worst company my family and I have ever dealt with, more so their management team and the women whom we spoke on the phone with. The moment this company receives your money they will not care about you, respond back to you and will not deal with any lost goods. During the move, our stuff was stored in a storage room for 3months. We realized we lost a few boxes from our master bedroom as soon as we moved into our new place. It was purposely labeled master bedroom so we know where each box goes as soon as we move into our new place. Our whole box filled with stolen goods (jewelry, sunglasses, perfumes and cologne) were STOLEN and NOWHERE to be found. We contacted the company’s management group and the women was extremely rude to us on the phone and not wanting to help find a solution for us. She was not cooperating to help get our stuff back. Isn’t it extremely weird out of all boxes missing that it had to be one box from the master bedroom filled with expensive jewellery and goods? You would think a company like them would help their customer but clearly are just greedy for money and zero customer service at all. I definitely recommend everyone to find a DIFFERENT moving company unless you want your valuables to go missing and having to deal with an extremely rude and uncooperative management team who doesn’t seem to care about their customers or lost items due to their moving team. Paying over 4000$ for a moving company and having your stuff stolen is insane and definitely not worth it. This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star. If there was an option for 0 star I would give them that. Stay away from this company, you’re better off with a different company who cares about their customer BEFORE and AFTER the service.

I am not sure where to begin to describe how amazing this moving crew was! Incredibly polite, thoughtful, professional, respectful, and just really fun to work with. They made an exhausting day truly enjoyable and positive with smiles on their faces the whole day. Even while moving our piano down to a basement, they waved my concern away and said, " Don't worry, it's a light one!" I am so grateful to have found Laporte moving and highly recommend their services. Not only worth the money but also helped to create a great memories!

The moving crew showed up on time and were very diligent to wrapping all of our furniture and fragile items. Amazing crew 10 out of 10. They delivered our possessions the next day and again 10 out of 10. None of our items were damaged or missing. I understand that not all customers will have the same amazing service we experienced, that’s just how life works, unfortunately. We won’t hesitate for a second to recommend Laporte moving. Stress free for us ?

We recently moved from North Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast - Garden Bay. The quote for LaPorte came in $2,500 lower than Ferguson so we opted for LaPorte. They did a terrific job, nice people and hard workers. Everything went without a hitch. I especially appreciated that my pinball machine arrived to our new home in one piece - no broken glass. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LaPorte to anybody who is searching for a quality mover.

LaPorte was excellent to deal with from start to finish. The packers were so professional and faster than anticipated. All our belongings were securely packed and nothing broke. The movers were equally professional, Tyler’s team arrived on time and moved every piece of furniture with care. They went the extra mile to place our things and boxes in an organized way which made unpacking a breeze. We will use LaPorte again for sure.
