A	Anj San on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give zero stars I would. Motel advertised as a hotel. Staff was extremely rude - I was approached before check in as we were trying to find our room number and was told in a very rude tone that we weren’t allowed on the property until the room was ready. Upon check out, I kindly asked for the house cleaners name and was approached again and she started yelling to my face saying “You have a problem with me?” to which I responded with “I just didn’t appreciate how we were approached before check in” and she proceeded to respond with “I’ve been working here 16 years!!” I tried resolving this issue with management and never got a response back - poor communication. Got charged for “noise complaint” to which we were never told about during and after our stay. Tried to fight it as we have have messages and call history to prove they never texted or called to let us know - never got a response back. Avoid it as much as you can! There are better places in canmore I would sooner support than Lamphouse hotel - rude staff, poor communication and paper thin walls they’ll charge you for. I wish I had better things to say about this place due to its prime location but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a “hotel” and the worst place we have ever stayed at.

Asked to have the room cleaned and was given garbage bags and was instructed to collect the garbage myself and set it outside the door. Ran out of toilet paper and was told to use tissue paper. No refill on coffee in the room.
L	Luciano Bonini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to stay right on Canmore downtown! Great location and room is so cozy and comfortable! Amazing interior design and extremely well equipped! Feels like an apartment! Free parking and hot tube for late night relax!
S	Stephen Franchuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average stay here. The room is nicely renovated and comfy. Fairly clean! Bit of dust, dirt and hair on the bathroom floor. Like the other reviews say, it is loud but really wasn’t bad for downtown Canmore. The pricing was certainly fair for what you get. Reception was less then helpful when we arrived 20 minutes early, even when we called ahead saying we were a bit early. Our door code didn’t work to get in and she said it was because we were too early. I asked her if our room was ready and she said it would be at 4 although it was already cleaned…. Ended up getting in early but she wasn’t willing to help until I asked a few times. Overall great location and we will be back if we need something in walking distance. Thank you for the reply lamp house: I was standing at your welcome desk and the lady was too busy with her cell phone to be troubled to help with a 20 min early clock in
B	Ben .C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to thank the front desk staff for finding my Apple Watch that I dropped I. The parking lot. They went out of their way to find my info on the watch and cross reference the names with on their guest list. She called me before I knew I had lost it! I believe her name was Manpreet, it was last weekend so I hope I am remembering her name properly, she was great and has made my wife and I loyal visitors! Also the room was lovely with a window overlooking the creek with a great mountain view. Thanks again you are the best!
s	sarah daly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed one night in the pet friendly room number 8. Room was small but ok for one night. Noise above was not welcome. If anyone moves or walks above you can hear everything! I would not recommend staying on the lower level if at all possible .
O	Olivia Double on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't fault this hotel! Perfect location at the end of the little main street in Canmore. The room was spacious, modern, stylish, and clean. Comfy big bed, big tv and coffee maker. Mountain view. And best of all, a great hot tub! You don't even need to go see someone to check in, they email you a code to get into the room so it's super easy, and there's parking too so we were able to park literally outside our room. At the price we paid, it was a bargain, we were so pleased we chose this hotel! Highly recommended! We ate dinner around the corner at a tiny restaurant called 4296 which I'd also highly recommend!! Would definitely stay at Lamphouse again.
C	Curtis Wakefield on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location cannot be beat. We stay here a couple times a year. They have a 3 bedroom apartment we rent for golf trips and it's great. Also it's excellent walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Shops of downtown are right there and they also have some covered parking which can come in handy here.
