★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful property and decent rooms. Great if you have a group of people to rent the whole cabin. The owner was extremely nice and showed us some hiking trails and great areas to go that were around. Inexpensive with a wonderful atmosphere.

Some areas are shared/private (bathrooms, kitchen, living rooms) which I quickly got used to, and other guests were friendly and helpful when it came to finding everything. Casual, welcoming accommodations in an incredible woodland setting.

If it had been $50/night for a private room, I would have no complaints (we have stayed at many hostels) The rooms come with earplugs, which were needed, because the walls are very thin and sound carries extremely well. The kitchen had a sticky floor, and many of the dishes were not very clean. However, the owner is very nice. The surrounding area might well be beautiful, but we didn't explore it because of the rain. All in all, not worth the price (for us, anyway).
