★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful, relaxing and safe despite there being water falls. Friendly locals there with their kids and pets. A must see if you will be spending any time in the valley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great park for people of all ages and for dogs! It's designated as a off leash area, so well-behaved dogs are welcome to roam the trails and swim in the river.
A new trail was recently put in from the parking lot to the main falls area that is wide and relatively flat to allow easier access for wheelchairs and emergency vehicles, but there are also many side trails for exploring that are rougher and require more mobility.
There are many river access points off of "The River Trail" (which runs parallel to the river for several kms) that lead to sheltered swimming holes out of the main river current.
The river is pretty low with a weak current in the summer (so great for those who aren't strong swimmers), but can be strong during the winter and spring (especially if the hydro dam upriver is letting out water) - so be cautious when first exploring (and keep your children and dogs to the sheltered shallows when swimming) until you get used to the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk by the river with well kept trails and benches to sit and enjoy nature. Lots of walking trails along with bike and horse trails. You can get to really quiet places and just enjoy the sounds of nature and the river and falls.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place to visit for a quick swim, a quick walk, or even a bike ride! The path literally takes 5 minutes and then you are at the river/waterfalls. There are some clearly marked bike-only trails, and others meant for walking. The water itself looks stunning, especially if you go during fast-current season, which the sign said this year was July-September.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a stunning and serene waterfall! The weather was changing constantly — it went from gloomy to sunny to rainy and all over again. We went on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. Only one other couple arrived when we were leaving. Very easy and short hike to the falls on well-maintained trails. There’s an accessibility route available, too.
