Absolutely beautiful. A must see.

So beautiful! Enough of a hike to be a deterrent for some, which made it quiet enough on a gorgeous day that we were by ourselves for 45 minutes or so playing on the island.

This is a very cool spot to visit if you’re travelling along the coast. It’s a short walk from the highway through a trail that leads you to a beautiful sandy beach. Park along the highway just south of Katherine Cove. Once you’re at the beach you’ll need to walk through the water from the beach to reach the rock but the bottom of the lake is soft sand but you could always wear water shoes as well.

This was always on my bucket list and finally had the opportunity to visit last week. It was fantastic!! Short walk out to the island on very soft sand and the water was only mid thigh high. It was clean (no bird poo) but busy on a beautiful sunny day! So glad I went and definitely worth the short walk from the parking area up the highway.

It's beautiful to go visit. Parking is a little far. The island is full of bird poo. But it is a must stop if you are in the area

Stunning sand and clear water. Clean beach with dunes and a short shoreline. Not a lot of parking. There's a trail that takes you to the beach off the highway. You'll need to bring your own food, no restrooms. The island you can walk to since its shallow. Water is pretty shallow, have to walk a bit for it to be tldeep. Dogs are allowed on a leash. This is a spot for a day or a quick dip along the drive.

Big tourist attraction but we understood why! Pure white sand, warm water, tons of space and fun walk to the island. Water is very shallow so even babies can play in water. Just an amazing little place. Can come here for a day but we seen people camp (even though signs say no camping). Right off the highway. "Cuba" in Ontario. 100% worth a stop!!

Great place to visit! If you are already in Katherine’s Cove, the trail to the Bathtub islands is fairly short and really worth it, with many lookout views. The trailheads starts just on the left side of the Cove, almost hidden under the trees. Once on it, it is well marked by blue hiking-man tags on the trees. To get to the tip of the trail that oversees the Bathtub Islands can be a bit tricky with a few ups and downs due to the rocky formation and some landslides, so exert some caution as you make your way. It is quite a wonderful experience to get to the island!
