My favorite activity when I visit And make sure you have enough water sunscreen and life jacket to be safe while you're out

This is a great river float option. There are no rapids at all, the water is very calm the whole float. There is no debris in the river (other than along the shore line) and the river bottom is sand the whole way. When the water level is lower (mid-Aug) you can walk down the river, which is a lot of fun. I would not hesitate to take smaller kids, as long as they have a life jacket, as this is a casual float. Floating time is about 90 mins and driving time from beginning to end is about 5 mins making it very easy to shuttle vehicles.

SO much fun. We went in the end of summer so the river was low and slow. The water was not too cold at all. Wster was nice refreshing temperature and SO clean and clear. There are very few and small parts of seaweed, but majority of the river float is SO clean and beautiful. Beautiful mountain views. definitely a must.

I had never done this float before, but it was worth the drive from Kamloops. Beautiful scenery, good parking on both ends, and the water was nice. If anything, a little warmer than I prefer, but I usually like it cold anyhow, and we've had record temperatures this year. Float is between an hour and 90 minutes depending on wind and currents. Today took hour and a half, but nobody was complaining.

First time floaters had so much fun we went twice. We went from the bridge to the park and it took less than 2 hours. We did the first run early and it wasn't very busy, but by noon the launch was packed. Next time we will choose a longer run. Perfect way to spend a day.

It was nice and calm... easy to find but hard to get off at Tuney Park as we were in the middle of the river and it was flowing pretty good. There are no signs that it was the end but you can see people on the the beach. I would do it again.
