★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two nice lakes in Jasper that are not well visited, making it a wonderful place to relax. There are lots of trails for exercise and exploration. The water looks equally pleasing for water activities. Great open expanses for picnic and the view are just as picturesque as the rest of the Rockies. Next to Lake Annette is the small Ochre Lake which is supposed to be a quicksand area. Altogether, this place is worth a visit if you are in Jasper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These are two beautiful lakes and so clear and reflective. The trail around Annette is paved so everyone can enjoy it. Both are perfect for kayaking, canoeing,stand up paddling, fishing and swimming. I'dlove to own a house along Lake Edith!

The scenery, the water was warm and spectacular.

Beautiful walk if not a little confusing on where the path meanders. Sometimes we were on the road others walking between the lake edge and the houses. Houses were beautiful and I assume owners were very nice.
Took a BOB three wheel stroller along the whole route and really did not have a difficult time. Some say that this is a easy to moderate walk, I have to lean towards the easy side of things.
Over all great walk good views and alot of wildlife. I suspect that was just timing and the season.
*Yes, this is a real Elk. Loved that the Elk was standing behind a small sign that says "Private No parking" Elk either is being a rebel or has a sense of humor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning views around both lakes. The lake loops are a great walk, trails are easy to follow. Lake Annette is completely paved. Both have beaches. Great spot to spend the day.
