★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful course. Great service and kind helpful employees. No cart gps, water, tees or starter announcements were a little disappointing for the cost/caliber of this course. Extremely expensive on course snacks! Still is a must play for traveling golf enthusiasts, just throw a few drinks and snacks in your bag if you're on a budget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be one of the most picturesque courses I have ever played. I've been to Banff and Highlands Links (I love Stanley Thompson designs), and other Thompson designs.
That being said the golf is really what matters and this is a very busy course which can cause some delays but you are pre-warned of this and the 4 1/2 hr rate of play should be expected. The fairways are receptive and the greens are also very playable and fair. One of the par 5 (13 I believe) has a significant ground hog problem and even makes some of the area (two of the bunkers) fairly unplayable. Not sure what can be done to correct this but in the end it did detract from the experience.
I was lucky in that I managed to get the Alberta resident rate and played here for just under $200 (yes $200). It was a golf bucket list course for me so I had to make the trip but at that rate it will be my only visit. It is a 5 star experience but not at that price (or even more for out of province visitors)
If you can afford it it is a must play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the most beautiful golf courses I've played. The mountains run quite close to the golf course. The course is in good condition. Lastly, the hole with the lake is an iconic hole and really stands out above the rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great course, challenging but not too hard. Beautiful views, and sometimes you can see a grizzly. I would recommend you check it out, don’t worry about the weather. Rain only lasted for 10 min a couple of times throughout mid day round.
