★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent course. Great scenery in the valley with creeks and the river flowing through many of the holes. Multiple tee boxes to choose from and can be challenging. I will say after the flood a few years ago both courses are a bit more player friendly. Clubhouse patio is excellent.

An experience so memorable - the charm stayed on after my first round here some 10 years ago
At an altitude of 5000 ft and guarded by Mt. Kidd, wind is non-existent and the ball really flies through the thin air…so club down!!
And slow down between shots as you take it all in…!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always an amazng experience at #Kananaskis and today we had a grizzly roaming around the back 9 on Mt. Kidd ? Even though it rained the whole way there, it was beautiful for our round and NO rain at all, just a little cloudy ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really hate doing this because the K is phenomenal, but today's round on Lorette was painfully slow. 5+ hours. While the Marshall apparently spoke to the group in front of us three times, nothing changed. Every par 5 they had nothing but a wide open hole in front of them. While we sat and waited watching them tee off. Just look at the photos.
You'd think the Marshall or they would have us play through, but nope. Anyways I expect 5 hour rounds in the city but today was disappointing. I get its not often like this out there but someone needed to move them along.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly an amazing experience for the avid golfer.
The only negative seems to be when scheduling more than a 4 some, they got it wrong for the group I layed with . That and also CART pATH only.
A few tips: if you hit between 220-250, the blue tees are going to give you heartache from the bunkers. It’s a short enough course that I would play the tips and be out of trouble next time.
Play is about 4:30 due to cart path only.
Aeration happens early october.
