β β β β β I would definitely recommend this business to friends and family!!! This company is top-notch! No more questions. I would absolutely recommend this one to anyone out there who needs a handyman hand. We had them first for our dryer vent installation and because of a job well done we had them for maintenance and cleaning. Just last week we had them to have our heating system tuned-up. Well, again, they can be trusted all around the house! 5 stars!

β β β β β In a world where service and quality have become a rarity, it was a real pleasure to find someone who could provide both. I had two corner cabinets that had broken hinges and sagging doors. Laird Handyman East York, asked me to send pictures of the cabinets, and then gave me a quote and a time frame of when he could come and how long the job would take. When Laird Handyman East York arrived he looked at the cabinets told me what he was going to do and got to work. The job was completed within an hour and the cabinets were working and looking like new. I would highly recommend using Laird Handyman East York to anyone that needs cabinet work done.

Laird Handyman East York gave us a reasonable quote when compared to others. He was on time and communicated well. As other reviewers have said, Laird Handyman East York does not rush and is careful with his work. We will definitely consider Laird Handyman East York for other services in the future.

β β β β β I had four small jobs to do. Raise two down spouts for two rain barrels and replace two boards on my back deck. Thatβs it. The cost of the wood would have been $100 at the most (even given the inflated prices of wood during Covid) and the overall work would have been less than two hours. I was told a technician would come and give an estimate. Instead I got a text requesting photos. I took three photos and sent them. The next morning the estimate came by text message: $780. So, subtracting the cost of the wood, the labour for this project came to $340/hour. I replied saying forget it. A few minutes later I asked a guy doing renovations next door to look at my down spout. No problem he said. He got his tools and had the down spout adjusted in less than ten minutes. I gave him $50.
I got a voicemail from Laird Handyman asking for my feedback of the estimate. I called them back and after two seconds they hung up on me. Before I even had a chance to give my feedback. I called back and told them what I thought.
Really bad experience. First of all, an estimate shouldnβt be given based on three photographs on a phone. And $340/hour for labour for the simplest of projects? You decide for yourself what a βbargainβ this is.
