Sadly there is no ability put minuses for a rating on this app...Sonya Das is the worst lawyer and the least professionalism I have ever encountered...her business is run by her assistants and there is so very shady activity there... I suggest to anyone seeking a divorce lawyer you steer clear of Sonya Das and her practice...her inability to practice law has resulted in her clients losing out a great deal...

Sonya was extremely professional, dedicated and an exceptional lawyer during my divorce proceedings. She was able to help me through these difficult times, she is very understanding and knows what she is doing! My kids and I are eternally grateful for what she has done. I would recommend Sonya to anyone!

I have been wanting to put this on Google Review for some time now. Sonya is not a well trained lawyer, she has some type of degree from Australia and knows very little about Canadian law. She has to ask her colleague Tim (she referred to him quite often) to get answers you would think a basic lawyer would know. She was late every single appointment I had with her. She was also late for virtual court date three times, the Judge and Court Clerk were not impressed. She brings her kid in or talks about her kid still br***t feeding almost every time I saw her, I never asked (it made me feel very uncomfortable). She was dishonest, lazy and I caught her in at least four big lies that effected my case substantially and she was gaslighting me through my entire experience with her. She didn't prepare for court dates and it showed, no effort at all. She did nothing for my case! She would play games on her phone when we had court instead of preparing me or for the appearance. There was also something fishy going on with her billing and payments, being billed for time she didn't do anything for and payments were not going onto my account for some reason. I 100% believe she sits back and does nothing for her clients and get unexperienced labourers to do the work for her. Sonya is the most unprofessional lawyer in Calgary. I had to switch lawyers. Talked to my new lawyer about her, I guess she has a really bad reputation in the law community for being lazy and not knowing the law. New lawyer told me that eventually her antics will catch up to her through the Law Society (I hope so!). Don't even think about going to her. I actually think she is out of business. THERE IS SERIOUSLY BETTER LAWYERS!! Please note: I am entering this as anonymous as I feel her retaliating for telling the truth, most copied from my review on Review my Lawyer website.
