I came here for my kitchen & bath renovation. Knowledgeable staff & fair prices. They even have liquidation lots. Only thing is sometimes color choices are limited. Worth a look.

Great place for all your tiles needs. Very skilled and helpful staff. Best of all they will buy your unused tiles back at the same price you paid.

As a contractor, interior designer I can say that I have never had such reliable, informed service any where else in the city. Great prices on liquidation stock (available immediately) and good options for products on special order. The staff receive proper training and show a genuine interest in the products they sell. It doesn't have the fancy showroom that certain clients might want but they more than make up for that in service and prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

There were a few customers there, all being attended to, off and on, over the course of my visit, which lasted about 20 minutes. Staff were occupied, but far from busy. Never once, for the entire course of my visit, did I receive any form of acknowledgement, be it a 'bonjour', smile, frown, nod of the head; nothing. It's not the first time I've been there. I bought plenty of ceramic there for my last renovation project. Things have changed. Or, maybe they're not crazy about the late Thursday night hours (until nine p.m.). Whatever the case, service and courtesy were abysmal.

Great for tiles. Engineered wood? Not so much. I purchased the wood, glue and acoustic membrane and had it installed by a contractor. This has proven to be a big mistake. When purchasing, we were told to let the wood rest at least 5 days before installation to let the planks acclimate to the humidity level. We did this (I left it 10 days). The installation was in January, and when I started to heat the place to more than 15 degrees celcius as I moved in, the humidity level fell and over 10 planks cracked. We were not told at any point in the sales process that this could happen, and that the humidity level had to be kept over 45% (a very difficult thing in winter in Quebec). La Tuilerie just told us that these instructions were in the boxes (which my contractor opened, not me) and took no responsibility. Next time, I will take a one stop shop - get the installation done by the same shop that sells the wood (which La Tuilerie does not offer). I am in for at least 1000$ to replace the cracked planks. After complaining to La Tuilerie, all I got was a 20$ wax pen, the same colour as the floor, to camouflage the mess. Even that did not work. La Tuilerie sent me their wood expert, who basically told me that everyone knows about the humidity levels and engineered wood, and therefore, they again take no responsibility. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Great selection of tiles. Staff offers good suggestions to help select a tile. Unfortunately some of the tiles were no longer available but a nice model was picked. Service is more personalized than some of the hardware warehouses.

Yesterday we visited this nice store. They have a lot of beautiful tiles but they also have a diamond called Zachary who was so kind and helpful,so patient and professional, he patiently answer all our questions about the tiles. The most important he didn't insisted us to buy from the store he left us to made freely our decision. We spent a lot of time with out any pression so we made our right decision . I wish all the stores to have personnel like this nice guy to help the customers instead to push and sell them unwanted items.. I strongly believe that if anyone really likes an item he will buy it for sure. The sellers are only to answer questions and give information or explocations. Thank you.

The best part of my 3 generation family visit to La Tuilerie was the generous and inspired assistance we received from Imen Naili , who somehow managed to understand the tastes of 4 different family members and suggest tile choices that we all appreciated and will be happy to live with . As a group we currently have a wide variety of bathroom and kitchen projects and hope to find Imen at La Tuilerie every time we return there.
