La Roux is home to fresh and vibrant pastries in an intimate setting with a Parisian feel (sans the sarcasm!). A lovely place to enjoy a cup of coffee and indulge in a canelle, macaron, or tart (or, let's face it, all three). A must try for those with a sweet tooth and a yearning for all things butter.

This place is amazing. When my family & I were looking at bakeries to make my sisters wedding cake, La Roux made us a sample box of different desserts to try. They were all delicious & looked amazing. We were so impressed we asked them to make the wedding cake which was also fantastic & full of flavour. If anyone is getting married in Victoria I'd definitely recommend they get their cake from here. Their vanilla sponge is also very light & fluffy, I was very impressed with their flavours

Chocolate cake is freshly made daily, cake is moist and creamy, not too sweet like other bakeries. Their croissant is also excellent, has a lot of texture to it, rather than just flaky. A highly recommended bakery.

Always a wonderful experience. The staff are welcoming and professional. Everything I've ordered here I've enjoyed from cookies to drinks and a custom cake.

Excellent little Patisserie! Great ambiance, pretty looking pastries, decent prices with wonderful staff. 4 little tables inside and 4 bistro tables outside (reminiscent of Europe). Had the Passionfruit Chocolate Tart - real passionfruit flavour! Beautiful tables, chairs and bathrooms.

Espresso pistachio tart! So far my favourite dessert from here. The crunch of the tart part makes it perfect and the combination of pistachio flavour and the hint of coffee is just amazing! Absolutely recommend this one whenever you see they serve it lol

This gem just happened to be right next to our AirBnB (lucky for us). The creme brulee was scrumptious; the custard felt thicker than ones my husband and I have tried elsewhere, which we loved. We also had a lemon tart and a chocolate passionfruit tart for to-go to have after dinner. Normally I’m not a big fan of citrus desserts but the lemon tart tasted perfect and not too tangy. I thought that was the end of the surprise until my husband tried the chocolate passionfruit tart and asked me if we could get not one but two more tomorrow before leaving the town! So glad we got to try their pastries while in town. Also we found the prices to be very reasonable compared to other patisseries of the similar level.

Amazing place… best carrot cake, pistachio tart ever… cannot remember I cannot eat extremely sweet things, so these are just perfect for me… I love their coffee too, even without the sweets it is still really good coffee. Couldn’t remember name for the third one, but it was sooo amazing…
