I have lived about 50 mins from this track for a few years and I play on average over 175 rounds of golf a year and for some reason I have never been enticed to play here... not sure why... I'll be back!
This is simply a fun place to play 18 holes of golf with good course conditions. Big thumbs up for the tee boxes and greens, both in excellent condition. Sand traps are a complete different story... it had rained (4 days earlier) and it showed with extremely damp sand and many water run off tracks (deep ones). Some of the bunkers simply were not playable. They should have been maintained by the time we played compared to the last rain but not sure of the regular playing conditions of the sand here; this may or may not be the norm.
This is an extremely picturesque course with many photo opportunities if you want to take the time (you will need it on the front 9 as there are plenty of pretty holes). I should have taken more for this post.
While some of the holes might seem short they can be a little tight so driver might not be the best club off the tee... be aware. Greens were fast but fair.
I always say if you are going to golf you should be having fun or else why are you golfing... I had a lot of fun... as did my playing partner for the morning.
