I had a positive experience at the ER. Went in at 5am, was seen by 9am by the doctor. I was told that at 8am more staff and doctors are available so more patients are seen. Which is true, at around 7:30 more patients were seen and things were moving quicker. People who arrived at night seemed to have the longest wait so if you are unsure of when to go and can wait until early morning that's what I would suggest. Admin, nurses and doctors were all professional and helpful.

92-yr old mother went through a horrific administrative bureaucracy where one group of specialists doesn't talk to another .. found herself being "evicted" to a Senior's Residence where residents need to be independent, when she needs long-term care. The bottom line was clearly: she is too well to be here and we don't care where she ends up.

I've been going here for years. Hospital it's newly renovated. The covid precautions are good and the doctors are nice and do their job well. Waiting is typical as you are at an ER not a stat clinic. If you are lucky you may be out in 2-3 hours or maybe have an 8-10 hour wait. Unfortunately with my kids and I being sick and hammered non atop the past 3 months we have been frequent patients, but all care was great and mychart is nice too.

Never again. 10 hours Just to give up and go home without seeing a doctor. Wish I knew the same people that some of the local residents did. They came in and left in under an hour. Please bring in a 2 tier system. The one we have now is obviously broken. I am actually afraid to get sick in Ontario.

Arrived at 10 am Wednesday morning with severe vomiting and dehydration. Waited until 5:30 pm to finally be put in a room. Waited to see a doctor until 10 pm however they never came at which point the local pharmacy was closed anyways so I left after 12 hours with no iv no medication and not being seen. Incredibly disappointing

Arrived at emergency at 10 a.m from Quebec, had some heart worries. Was out before 2 pm, after ECG, blood test, Chest X-ray, ultrasound, and TWO meetings with a physician. Great service, everyone is bilingual, and my 2 nurses and the doctor(Gabrielle?) answered all my concerns

Have a family member in ICU and called to inquire about visits. The nurse whom I spoke to was absolutely rude with zero compassion and upset because 2 other family members had phoned prior. Which I was not aware of. Concerned family members calling about a loved one who could pass away at any moment should not be an inconvenience to staff. Unbelievable. A formal complaint will be filed.

Let's just say, the humanity and professionalism have left the building. My daughter, three and a half weeks early from her due date, was taken to the hospital on a Monday morning. She was already 3 cm dilated. 5 hours later, she was not feeling well at all and in a lot of pain. They had to perform an emergency c-section to remove the baby who was clearly in distress as complications took over. Her baby was born in the afternoon, three and a half weeks premature, slightly jaundiced which is kind of normal however weighing only 4.3 lb. 48 hours later she was discharged with the baby. 4 days after that, she had a visit from a nurse and was told to bring the baby to the hospital as soon as possible because he was losing his temperature and it was not going back up. The same hospital that discharged early and delivered this baby refused to take him. That's having to go to St Jerome to warm the baby up, treat his jaundice, and make sure he was being fed because this was a difficult task. 48 hours for a c-section patient and a premature baby. This could have ended badly. Thank goodness for the Saint Jerome hospital for having the sense to keep them a few days. Since when do we let patients go this early when Mom can't do much because of a c-section, and her preemie baby is losing heat and not getting warmer, as well as jaundiced. and now weighing 3.11 lbs.Huge fail, huge fail. Everyone including the other hospital cannot believe that mom and baby weren't at least transferred to Ottawa where they could be treated properly. It's disgusting. One star as I can't put zero
