Carole's Restaurant Hawkesbury

My road trip buddy and I Austin hit this town for various reasons during all season. It includes simple short road trip not too far away from Montreal. And it's in Ontario. And it's almost like going to another country for us lol and nice country. And Carol's Restaurant on Main Street of Hawkesbury Ontario is always been listed as good food but other rating services and we held back on checking it out until a couple of months ago and this is our third time returning and we are pleased. The service is always great and the servers always have a very positive attitude and communicate well. Our last server had the name of my grandmother and we even had a human conversation of sorts. So cool! :-) My friend always orders a little something different and this time she ordered the feeling of salmon plates and like the salmon found the rice good that you vegetables were fine and she loved the potatoes saying they were done just perfectly and she's picky. I always order the seams, the all dressed small pizza. It was Dripping with juices literally! And it was very tasty. It was also pretty big for sick so that it took half of it home. It was also an exciting time on the Main Street of Hawkesbury because official people came into the restaurant going to use anybody parked on the street and I was so pleased we are parked right in front how handy was that. Well apparently the Santa Claus Parade was coming through in an hour and a half so I had to run out and move the car but we didn't get any Santa Claus Parade photographs. This restaurant is very clean. The stock seems to be happy and everybody's busy and working hard. And all the clients seems to be highly appreciative of the food and the staff and the place. Carol's Restaurant is almost like a good housekeeping live photograph of what a very decent restaurant with good food good service clean place and consistency better quality of all those aspects in the regular kind of joint, should look like and should be. I'm very pleased to return to Carol's Restaurant and I will do so from now on. it's our third visit and we view please each and every time. Oddly we also got the same boost each and every time so it's almost like our booth lol :-) Carol's Restaurant is a pleasure of everything including the Small Things simply, being right! Attitude and quality of food and service and cleanliness. The floors ceilings the Boost the tables the windows everything is truly clean! and so is there food:-) . I give Carol's Restaurant on the Main Street of Hawkesbury Ontario right beside the Burger King, a 5 on 5. That means I need three more hands to give five thumbs up *LoL*. ? . All the note to newcomers that there's a lovely sign in front of the place high up like a second-level terrorist on the roof at that says Carol's in a nice horizontal oval with the sort of handwriting the signs got a dark background and a lighter color script. But when you look downstairs at ground level, since the windows have unidirectional tinting it looks like the place is closed and that's why we drove past it a couple of times. Rest assured that the place is open and is great! Now don't expect high-end classy expensive restaurant food. But with a large menu of much choice, expect everything made very well and as you sent two very very good quality. . We've tried many restaurants throughout this town of Hawkesbury Ontario and I say this is the healthiest and most reliable and most professional and friendliest and cleanest and most consistent better quality compared to any of the others in town. So if you want good food at a decent price ? this is consistent thumbs up. Carole's is the best representation of all that's good in Hawkesbury.:-)

Very uninteresting looking plate, below average taste ( for gyros in a dinner special), slow service even with restaurant not even half full.... Was my first time there and probably will be the last one....

Enjoyed the lunch menu and the soup provided. Meat loaf was great and the gravy was spot on and not to salty which I find happens often.

Went for supper with my husband on a Tuesday night 2 weeks ago. Now I realize food prices have increased in the past few but months but really ? We each had a piece of lasagne, it was $20.00 a plate. No garlic bread or salad was included, just the lasagne by itself. It was supposed to be baked lasagne, the cheese was just barely melted on the top and it was not in a slice because it completely fell apart on our plates. The meat sauce was good but the pasta was way to thick. My husband ordered a Budweiser bottle of beer, it was $8.15 with tax, no glass offered. I asked for fresh coffee and it was not fresh nor hot. The coffee is over $2.00 + tax and I had to ask for a refill which turned out to be worse than the first cup. The service was okay, the restaurant was clean but the food is way overpriced for what we got and the beer was a crazy price. They should concentrate on fewer menu items, more reasonable pricing and fresher coffee. Expensive and disappointing.

Went on a girls trip and was told this is the best breakfast in hawksburry. Unfornetly it was not. The restaurant was clearly under staffed. We wanted to leave but we felt bad doing that as we were already seated. The waitress had zero time for us which wasnt her fault and the bus girl whom was filling our coffees looked unkept with messy hair ect. I was turned off to eat there.

GREAT FOOD...excellent service...quiet resto for a pleasant supper..

Horrible experience ... Ordered 2 large all dressed pizzas with extra pepperoni (delivery) and received 2 large pizzas with pepperoni only. Called the restaurant to complain and was told the best they could do is a $9 credit on my order and when I said seriously was told ok we'll make it $15. Ok so we spent $81 dollars to eat something we did not order ... In my opinion that is absolutely horrible customer service. This is not how you keep customers. I am giving 1 star as zero stars is not an option!

Always stop for a bite when in the area! It's an amazing restaurant with delicious food, fun ambience, and kind staff! Definitely recommend.
